I stood up from the ground and lay on the bed. I did not have any appetite to eat, and I certainly did not care to sit near the arrogant wuss.

I won't ever forgive them; the final straw was them giving me away.

After all, I did to get her to like me, she still treated me like a piece of sh*t.

I rubbed my hands in my face, cleaning the snort and tears.

I wanted to take a shower, but there was no way in hell I was going naked inside this room, mate or not.

I lay on the bed. I was half asleep when water rained on me.

I jerked up, shocked and confused by what was happening. My clothes were soaked to the brim.

I looked up to see the culprit so that I could unleash hell on the person. I saw him glaring at me, the bucket in his hands. I was beyond mad.

I wanted to slap his stupid handsome face, but knowing where I was and who he was, I would rather not.

"I  ordered you to eat, but you defiled my order; how dare you!" he roared.

Okay, who the hell does this asshole think he is to order me around? I thought

"I  am not hungry; I don't want food."

"You will eat; I won't repeat myself."

I was not in the mood for any trouble; today has been one hell of a day. I don't need this.

"Tell the maid to bring something for me; I will eat it," I muttered. I wanted to hear him go down so I could lie down and enjoy some peace.

In a few minutes, I heard someone know and muttered

"Luna is me; can I come in?"

"Yes," I managed to say.

"Alpha said I should make sure that you finished your food; I should not leave this room without the empty plates.".

"What is your name?" I asked

"Elise"

"Take a seat," I ordered.

"Have you eaten? I asked

"No, I couldn't."

"Please join me," I pleaded.

It must have been because of the way I looked tired.

job She joined me and chatted away.

Soon after the food was finished, she took the plate and left.

I wanted to sleep back, but since I did not know where he was going to stay, I stayed awake, listening to his footsteps, till I fell asleep.

The next morning, my body and my head ached.

I guess staying awake to plan my escape is not a good idea.

I needed something to eat. I went down the stairs to get something to fill my stomach. It is now or never.

When I came down the stairs, the house was almost empty; there were only a few guards outside and three maids inside.

I wanted to know where they went.

I told the maid that I was hungry and asked if she could pack me something to eat since I wanted to go for a walk. She eyed me suspiciously but agreed to do so.

She packed a huge quantity of bread, peanut butter, jam, apples, strawberries, and yogurt drinks. I don't even know the name; it might be her that made whence she poured it into a flask.

I wore a simple gown, my head tied in a ponytail without makeup, and flat sandals to cover up. I came out ready to walk out.

A guard stopped me.

"Luna, I can't let you go out alone. I am assigned to protect you."

"I am William, Alpha Stephan's gamma."

Another problem for me, I thought.

"I want to be alone," I told him.

"I am sorry, I can't let you go alone."

I eventually relented and allowed him to go with me.

He gave me directions on where to go and where not to go to avoid problems.

We got to a beautiful mountain, and I climbed there.

I spread a mattress that I came with, and I inhaled the clear breeze. It is amazing being here. free from my problems.

I brought out my food to eat with him; he didn't want to join me. A little persuasion did the work.

After I finished eating, I laid down to rest.

He watched me confused, and once in a while, he would move around to inspect the area.

A few minutes later, I told him I had to ease myself.

He followed me to the forest.

Once we were there, I told him to wait outside while I went in and did my business.

I took my colored clothes off; I had earlier put on some dark clothes.

I looked around the area for an escape, and in less than a minute, I found it. I waited to answer him for the last time if he called out to me before I ran away.

I ran as fast as I could from the back side without checking if I was being followed or not.

I was sure that it would be very difficult for them to find me since I had left them with a great gap.

I got to another forest and hid there, masking my scent.

I waited since I knew they would be searching for me. Before I made a move, I waited for an hour. I was about to make a move when I heard footsteps. I stilled my heartbeat, praying that I would get out of this mess as a familiar scent hit me.

The next thing I knew, he held my throat, choking me tight.

My eyes filled with tears, and I was struggling to breathe. I tried removing his hands, but the grip was too tight.

I kept fighting to be freed, but he did not budge.

I managed to lift my face so that I could look into the eyes of my murderer. His eyes were golden and filled with fury.

"Please let me go, Alpha," I muttered in a smooth, low voice. Tears welled in my eyes out of pain.

He looked at me one last time and released me. I struggled to catch my breath and was bent over in pain.

"How dare you try to run away from me, pup?" he thundered.

I was pissed that he tried choking the living daylight out of me and still had the guts to shout at me.

I wish I could choke him back so that he would know how it feels.

I dare not; from his size, I guess he could break me.

I  tried to look as innocent as possible as I replied.

"I was just exploring my alpha; I was enchanted with the beautiful environment, I lost track of time; I was about to start coming back before you found me" I lied.

"Where did you meet my guard"? I asked innocently.

His face showed that he did not believe my lie.

"Come on," he commanded.

He walked too fast; I had to run to catch up with him.

He did not care to slow down and match my pace.

"I woke up this morning and everyone was gone."

"Where did you all go?"

"I  wanted to speak with you, I do not like what happened last night, it was uncalled for" I frowned.

He didn't acknowledge that I was even talking, which made me angry.

What an ass, I thought.

"Where is your brother? I need to speak with him, Is he here?" I asked

He stopped and looked at me, his face scowling.

"If you are interested in him, you should know that he has a mate and he has found her, so whatever your interest in him may be, I suggest you kill it and stop being pathetic," he answered.

Okay, did he just call me pathetic? If I could strike him hard once, it would satisfy me and quench my anger.

We walked for a while and came out of the forest. I saw my guard kneeling with a sword placed on his throat.

I was horrified since I could deduce what they wanted to do to him.

I quickly blocked him with my body, and I decided in my mind that I wouldn't let someone else die for what I did.

I acknowledged the men that surrounded him; they bowed their heads out of respect, which was not necessary since I hadn't accepted their alpha as my mate and we were not mated yet.

I guess they know about me.

"What is going on here?" I asked.

"Alpha instructed that we should behead him if you are not found. We have been waiting for his instructions on what to do."

"That psycho" I muttered to myself. I know they can hear that.

"There will not be killing today," I announced.

"It wasn't his fault that I decided to explore on my own" I lied.

"I thought you ran away Luna, that is what we heard."

"I was exploring the forest, and I lost track of time" I lied again.

I noticed that he signaled something to them. The guard who placed the sword on his throat raised it to strike. I refused to move from the spot where I stayed because there was no way they would kill him without harming me.

This is my only way to protect him.

The next thing I knew, he lifted me.

I screamed, threatening anybody who killed him.

Stephan, don't you dare kill him, I kicked his back trying to free myself.

"I tricked him and ran away; I wanted to escape; he did not do anything, please," I pleaded.

I could see a smirk on his face as I felt a pull. The next thing, the weapon was lowered, and he stood up to join us in moving.

I was still carried bridal style till we got to the pack house, and he lowered me to the ground.

Liam welcomed us with a grin on his face.

I guess everyone knows about my not-so-strategic escape.

I tried to hide my shame as I ran to my room to hide.

I heard a voice that sent chills to my bones and made me want to throw up.

"Hello sis, it is so good to see you."

Stephan's POV Continuation I watched baffled and frightened by what happened. The explosion pushed them back; they disappeared. I looked around, and ten thousand men were standing; some were on the left-hand side, while others were on the right-hand side. The alpha, who stood at the front from the left-hand side, spoke first."Hi Stephan, it is good to see that you are still in one piece."I was so happy to see him.I could use all the help I can get."Crescent pack warriors at your service, Alpha Stephan.""You are welcome, too, alpha of the Crescent Pack.""What is happening, Stephan? What are these?" he asked me."I don't know how to explain, but they are half beast, half werewolf; all I know is that they are indestructible.""There must be something that can destroy them," he said to me."Yes, I have a plan.""What is the plan, Stephan? He persisted with his questions."I can only kill them if I cut their heads off of their bodies; the only way I can do that is if I can g

  • ALPHA TERROR    Chapter Ninety Four, Last Chapter 1

Stephan's POV I woke up because I heard someone scream. I did not know how long I had slept. I was disoriented for a while. I looked up at the sky; it was dark as if smoke had covered it. My body was wet and cold. I moved my hands to touch the floor, and I noticed that the leaves there were wet too. It must be because of the dew. I pulled myself up to a sitting position and looked around. I was inside the forest; the whole place was covered with grass and tall trees. It must be the reason why sunlight cannot penetrate it. I used my wolf vision to look around. I noticed a little ray of sunshine shining somewhere within the forest. I followed the light till I got to where it was shining. My hands got to work, and I used them to push the grass blocking my way out of it. I walked out, looked around, and could not recognize where I was. I was sure that when I came to this place, I was unconscious. I wonder who brought me to this place. "Stephan, where are you? We a

Stephan's POV "No, Stephan, don't do it; don't give in to him; he lied, my love; he lied to you, she continued screaming. I heard scuffles and the breaking of things. "Don't you dare hurt her," I threatened. My eyes blazed. "You need to find Carli Stephan; he can find me." "They had him brainwashed into thinking that we killed his parents; if you can find him and convince him, he will help you," she screamed. I heard gunshots, and the line went flat. I screamed out of pain as I tried to mind-link her. I was scared to death hearing that shot. I was restless that I was not there. "Little one, are you okay?" I screamed in my head. "Please say something so that I will know that you are okay," I pleaded. "I am in pain, my love, but I will be fine," she said to me. "You have five minutes to tell me the truth William, or else I will start dropping dead bodies here," I threatened him. "Do you worse, Stephan? You are going to regret not taking my offer," he boasted.

  • ALPHA TERROR    Chapter Ninety Two

Clayton's POV The moment I saw Clarissa on the floor and the look she had on her face, I knew instantly that she had heard everything. It is funny that she is trying to play it off. I needed to play along to make her relaxed, and I could watch her. I noticed that she was shaking out of shock. Since she wants to play, let's play. When she mentioned her mother's death, I knew that she was trying to divert my attention. I decided to fake it; she was so convinced by my acting. I pretended that I had gone into my room while I stood at the door and watched her. I heard Carli questioning her. Even though Carli kept interrogating her, she still hesitated to answer him. I saw her leave, and I knew instantly where she was going. I went inside for a few minutes so that I could get ready. I sent my men out immediately to follow her. When I came outside, I saw that Carli had a troubled look on his face. "Where is Clarissa?" I asked him. He frowned at me and answered

  • ALPHA TERROR    Chapter Ninety One

Stephan's POVI had to go see my friend Alpha Tyler; he had promised me earlier that if I needed his help, all I had to do was tell him when I needed it.I know that if we were to attack Alpha William's secret hideout, we would need all the help we could get.He told me that he was able to get me a few men, but I wasn't bothered because I knew that the few men he gave me would be enough to defeat our enemies.I was busy with him; that was why Clarissa was not able to pass through at first. She pushed through our bond; I felt her, and when I opened the bond, she was already out.I could sense her distress, and that scared me.I quickly concluded my meeting with Alpha Tyler and rushed out. Then I heard her distress call."Stephan, help me."I wish I knew where my gamma is, I would have sent him.I knew that I might not get to her on time that was why I pleaded with her to stay back till I got to that place.I felt that it would be safer and easier to pick her up from there since it w

Clarissa's POV "Clarissa, What are you doing here?" Alpha William asked."Why did you come in here?" he continued."Why are you on the floor? he questioned me.I tried to speak, but my mouth refused to bring out a sound.Fear crept into my mind.I already know how this is going to play out if I am not able to come up with a tangible story to cover up why I was in there.I grabbed his hand. I wanted to steady myself. I stood up, calculating in my mind what to say to him so that he wouldn't be suspicious of me."What are you doing here, child?""You have not answered my question yet.""I am sorry, grandfather; I came in here looking for you.""Why are you on the floor? Did you just call me grandfather?" He asked, looking surprised.I pretended like I did not hear the second question; I did not want to repeat what I said earlier so that I wouldn't gag."I thought I saw something; I am sorry, alpha." "I felt a chill on my body; I froze, and from there I fell." "What did you s
