5. We should help each other

Being in the same school as werewolves forces Lora to take chances and tolerate Tina's and her other friends' deceptive behavior.

"What exactly do you want?" Lora asked bravely, even though her heart was racing. She was the only one without a wolf, and having one was crucial in this place! The wolf's owner would be protected, and they could direct the wolf to carry out orders, such as assaulting the opponent.

"How could you?" Tina exclaimed, surprised that Lora was becoming more daring.

Is there still love for Lora despite all the slander and limits she has faced?

Harold happened to be passing through the school corridor when his eyes caught sight of them; he immediately approached them, sensing something was amiss.

"Come on, Tina. Give Lora some breathing room; she's been through a lot."

Tina exclaimed as she noticed that many people were paying attention to them and Lora. Lora's face seems different today; certainly, she is lovely, but being covered in dust hides her beauty, but today it is more evident; Lora's appearance has led many others to believe that she is not.

"I hoped to entice the wolf to come to defend her, but she doesn't have any," Tina explained.

"You don't need to make excuses since your actions have caused significant harm to Lora," Harold defended Lora.

Lora was saved by the would-be alpha werewolf Harold once more as she glanced at his lovely face.

The school environment in the werewolf realm differs from that of a regular human school. The corridors appear dark, and wolves frequently roam throughout. Except for Lora, all of the pupils have special abilities.

And she is constantly bullied because she is the daughter of a witch, even though she has no ability, and she is tired of being a mixed-blood girl.

"Announcement!"

The school's speaker went off. A werewolf match is about to begin. The master and the wolf have prepared for the student tournament.

"The Werewolf Power Battle will take place in two days; sign up in the administration office right away to enter the team raffle."

Lora, Tina, and Harold were among those who were dispersed by the announcement.

This annual event allows pupils to demonstrate their abilities. Lora, unfortunately, cannot excel, although the prize is the currency with a large enough nominal value that she can obtain capital to escape out of that area.

"Lora, the prize isn't half awful. The money will be sufficient for us to no longer work as waitresses," Barry said excitedly to Lora. He had been standing next to Lora after the others left.

"But I don't have any rights," Lora grumbled.

"Umh, I have a lovely voice; maybe I'll enter a singing competition," Barry suggested.

"You have a wonderful voice; I've heard you sing in the kitchen," Lora remarked.

"This race is not for slaves!" Tina's shouts could still be heard; she was unyielding in her interference with Lora's life.

The impending bell temporarily stopped the bullying, and the lesson resumed as usual. Students are superior to ordinary humans, and they gain powers to fight opponents, such as making fire, splitting the sea, and dividing the mountain into three sections, some of which will be employed as a branch of the race.

After school, Lora walked alone in the corridors while the others chatted with their wolves.

Lora strolled alone in the corridors after school while the others talked with their wolves.

"Lora," a deep voice said, stopping Lora in her tracks. Harvey's tall form came to a halt in front of her. His expression on her was one of disdain and disinterest.

"Are you close enough to Harold?" He saw what happened this morning and was late in aiding Lora before Harold, prompting him to disguise his irritation. He was proud since it was apparent that his heart belonged to her.

Lora is currently a slave, whereas Harvey is a candidate for Alpha. It's difficult to find a man who likes slavery.

"I'm not certain," Lora said.

"I don't think you should get close to him. On the exterior, he looks good but in truth, he's not that good," sounded strange, but Harvey repeated it despite Lora's perplexed expression.

Lora wanted to leave before Tina noticed them; her body language was strange, and she didn't feel at ease around Harvey.

"You were invited to my eighteenth birthday celebration on Saturday night. Luna invited all the females in the hopes that I may find a suitable match."

Harvey's remarks seemed to offer Lora optimism since if she had been invited, it meant she had a chance to become the next generation Luna. But it was all a dream. A slave like her would be unfit to accompany Alpha Harvey.

"I will undoubtedly be present to serve all of your visitors," she stated.

"No, I'd like you to be one of the guests," he explained.

Lora's eyes widened as she envisioned Tina's face. That girl would finish her as soon as she discovered she was at a party seeking Luna, the alpha partner.

"I'd better not. I'll be assisting with the celebration and keeping the kitchen occupied," Lora declined.

"No, you received an invitation directly from me, not a public invitation like the others," Harvey stated emphatically as he pulled out a golden purple eye mask from his backpack. "This one's for you," he explained. Lora felt coerced into coming.

"I'll show you if you'll be my partner," Harvey continued emphatically. Any lady could be his Luna, according to the indication.

"But are you certain you'll become Alpha?" Lora asked, curious. It was true that Harvey was undervalued in court.

Alpha continually praised Harold, complimenting him and bringing his younger brother up to the skies. However, Harvey was always subjected to more rigorous instruction, as a minor error could quickly escalate into a major one. Fortunately for him, Luna was always attentive to him. For example, she might organize a birthday party and invite all the girls so Harvey could choose his mate.

"No problem, I'll go through everything," he said immediately after Lora brushed her long hair. "Becoming an Alpha candidate isn't easy," he added.

"Should I come?" Lora wondered.

"I invited you just for this event, favorite masks you must wear; clothes will be sent to your room later," Harvey responded.

"For what?"

""You don't get an invitation straight from paper for practice wear to a party, but your favorite invitation directly from me," he said.

"What about Barry? I can't go without him," Lora said.

"I'll invite him over so you have someone to talk to," Harvey responded.

Luna made the invitation immediately, inviting all the females so that Harvey could choose a mate. However, there was no room for servants, let alone slaves. Harvey granted Lora room in the pack for equal rights, even though she had witch blood in her body. This is how he discussed with Luna and dared to invite Lora to his party.

"All right, I'll come when I finish arranging the party," Lora agreed.

Harvey's lips curled into a smile. He was confident Lora would agree to his proposal.

"Dress carefully and show up; I'll keep Tina at bay."

After finishing everything, Lora returned to her room. She had no choice but to wash her clothes in the river. It wasn't much, but they needed to be washed before they accumulated. Her intuition warned her that she would need money today.

With a bucket of laundry in her right hand, Lora took a step towards the river, which was not far from the palace. But just a few meters away, she noticed a grey-haired woman passed out on a rocky mound.

Intrigued, Lora approached the woman and gently shook her weak body. She noticed that the woman's body was very frail.

"Hey, wake up. What's going on?"
