ALPHA's Temptation

"Please, Tina!" Tina's hand tugged at Lora's hair, causing her to snap in pain. Her scalp was achy, and several strands of hair had broken and fallen to the floor. Tina's hand also punched her in the left cheek.

"You harmed me!" Lora exclaimed. Tina's sympathy had vanished. Arriving was torturing her severely.

"Hush, traitor!" Tina responded with bright eyes. Her tongue was as brutal as her hands and feet.

Lora was always regarded as a traitor by the pack because she was the werewolf witch's daughter. As far as she knew, she was merely a small kid who had no idea of her roots. She felt a barrage of anguish in various places in her body. Her scalp was burning, as were the corners of her lips, and blood was running down to her chin.

"Enough, Tina, -I don't know anything," Lora begged. Tina, instead of feeling sorry for her, continued to yank her hair until strands of her hair slid into Tina's palms. Tina appeared enraged and held a grudge.

"Such a fragile frame! Is Mana strong enough to withstand my attack? You scumbag! "she exclaimed.

Tina banged Lora's head mercilessly against the wall. Lora sat cross-legged, her temples throbbing with anguish. She suddenly remembered hearing someone whispering to her at that moment.

"Keep your legs!"

Feet are the most important form of life support. She could at least run if something horrible happened. With what little consciousness she had left, she noticed a bruise on her calf. In between Tina's onslaught of assaults, her hand clutched her calf, allowing her leg to bend right at the knee before her entire leg was damaged, preventing her from running.

Tina, your gorgeous face does not reflect a loving heart, but rather a wicked character with lofty goals to achieve anything she desires. Lora, in her eyes, is not only a traitor but also an impediment to her quest to become Luna.

"I'm not going to let it happen!" Tina chastised her for the umpteenth time. Lora's entire body ached, and she knew the end was nigh. She saw three angels preparing to take her to eternal heaven. Maybe it's preferable to live but be tortured like this.

"Hey!" yelled someone from outside. Lora's ears picked up a faint whisper. She thanked God a thousand times in her heart for the ability to hear. Who knew if the person who had the voice could help her? Her energy, on the other hand, was quickly drained until she lacked even the slightest bit of energy to raise her hand.

Lora passed out and had no idea what happened next. Tina was well aware that Lora was defenseless in her hands. Her eyes were filled with rage. It wasn't long before she abandoned Lora in the freezing kitchen that night. She turned around and saw Harvey.

Tina shut the kitchen door as if nothing had happened.

"What are you up to?" he inquired. Tina smiled warmly, her face contrived to hide her clever demeanor.

"Just fooling around, come on, you're wasting your valuable time here. Do you think you deserve to be a chef?" Tina expressed concern for Harvey.

"I heard screams," he insisted.

"Never mind, let's get back to your evening plans. What exactly are you doing? Archery drills?" She inquired.

"I'm meeting with the other young alpha candidates," Harvey said. Tina was able to divert his attention, keeping him out of the kitchen. Their relationship was strained, but Tina's expression revealed that she still cared for Harvey. She aspired to be Luna and was willing to do anything, including seriously injuring Lora, to achieve her goal.

Lora remained unconscious on the kitchen floor in the cold night. No one bothered to check on her until she finally regained consciousness a few minutes later. When she opened her eyes, she saw the kitchen ceiling and let out a sigh. That place was always terrible for her, and she frequently experienced acts of servitude that tortured her body.

"Ouch," Lora groaned as she sat up, unsure of how many layers of bruises covered her hands and feet.

"Tina! When did you start bullying me?" Lora asked herself, feeling tired of crying as no tears fell from her eyes.

Despite the cold, she got up and began preparing breakfast for the palace inhabitants. She knew it was still the middle of the night without checking the clock, but it was better than sitting silently, thinking about what had happened.

Lora's happiness was an illusion because the palace occupants had harassed her all her life. Her mother was a witch, and her father was a werewolf, and their love had defied the norm of werewolves marrying their own kind, which had made Lora's bloodline an object of little knowledge.

She came from a family of traitors.

The next morning, Lora came down to serve breakfast to the palace inhabitants when the food was ready. Her appearance was drab and filthy, and she was nothing more than a deplorable slave. After serving the food, she was forced to leave immediately.

Harvey, the other werewolves, and the bodyguards were sitting around the dining table. "Can you scrub the floors, Lora?" Harvey asked, noticing the dust streaks on her sandals.

"Fine, I'll clean everything up right away," Lora responded grudgingly.

"And look at you," Harvey added, followed by approving nods from the others, including the wolves.

"You're so filthy," Harvey continued.

"I'm sorry," Lora said, feeling humiliated. She didn't run away because she was dirty. She quickly excused herself to take a shower, realizing it would be polite to clean the floor while everyone was dining.

"I'll do the cleaning once everyone has finished eating," Barry said as he came in from the cold. she couldn't stand seeing Lora enslaved and thought the palace occupants had gone too far.

"Alright," Harvey said, and they all devoured the food right away. The smoke billowing from the dish indicated that it was still hot from being cooked. The slaves ate their leftovers, and no one objected because they were still alive despite not eating properly.

Meanwhile, Lora was cleaning herself in the bathroom. She wondered how long she had gone without drinking fresh water. As she looked at herself in the mirror, she saw the face of a werewolf and witch with emerald green eyes. Her flaming red hair had been washed to remove the grime. Her hair appeared grey when covered in dust, but after running water through it and removing the dust, it looked bright and clean.

She finished her bath and changed into clean, dry clothes. Her hair was beautifully groomed with a wooden comb bequeathed to her by her mother. When hair is combed neatly, a magic comb can instantly dry it. In front of the mirror, she looked like a lovely young lady. Lora's beauty shone through when she was clean and bright. She returned to work, but unfortunately, bathing did not effectively clean her wounds.

"I don't have an appetite," Harvey said as soon as his gaze landed on Lora. He knew she was attractive and clean, but he also knew she was a slave. He emerged from the dining room, trailed by his wolf bodyguard.

"Get out of here. The future Alpha is sick of seeing you," the wolf said in Lora's ear.
