2. Tormented Werewolf Slave

"That girl looks pitiful," Harold muttered as he exited the dining room. Harvey smiled slightly from the corner of his lip, nonchalant but intrigued by a woman named Lora.

"Lora? She's not bad, but she looks like a beggar," Harvey sneered. When they heard a voice, they stopped in their tracks.

"Please, young master, Lora is being tortured again," Barry pleaded, not knowing who to turn to for help.

Everyone in the palace seemed to be an enemy, but seeing Lora being tormented so viciously threatened her life as other werewolves emerged from the dining hall, content with their actions.

When Lora was assaulted, Barry served as the front guard.

"What happened?" he inquired.

"That traitor with witch blood. We're testing her to see if she has the magical ability to counter our strikes," Kevin, an attractive human-shaped wolf, explained.

"This makes no sense," Harvey said, but he took no action. As an Alpha candidate, he was unconcerned with world events, let alone safeguarding this tormented slave.

"Does that girl know who she is?" Harold interjected.

"You should know that she is the offspring of a witch. She has no right to be in the werewolf dimension. We are not the same as she,"

David, another attractive werewolf and Beta's child, chimed in. Neither David nor Kevin had any desire to be Alpha. They wanted to live a normal life, but they couldn't let the descendants of wizards exist in their place, the Grezelmorph Palace, the home of the Full Moon Pack.

"Nobody knows what it's like to give birth to a baby. They were born into this world unaware of their origins. They shouldn't be punished for what was done before their birth," Harold stated.

"Tell her to transform into a wolf; I'm confident she won't be able to," Tina came from the west, determined to make things worse. Lora's desire for vengeance and rage never waned.

"We almost killed her, but she survived. And it's not her witchcraft that makes her so magical!" Tina stated once again, her chin lifted with pride. Tina envisioned herself as the future Luna, and the Alpha she had fallen for was Harvey.

But love cannot be forced, no matter what. Harvey's feelings for Tina remained frozen.

There was only one Alpha for one Luna.

"Tsk, close your mouth."

Harvey didn't want to exacerbate the situation because he had work to do. He was preparing to travel for the war games since he needed to be physically strong to become a leader. As Alpha, he had to safeguard the entire pack, including the lesser packs within the kingdom's boundaries.

Lora sighed once more as her breathing returned to normal. She had always been treated this way throughout her life.

She was only a small baby, and she could never choose from whose womb she would be born.

She walked silently because if she drew attention again, she would be in great danger. Her body was too fragile to withstand any further torture. At least for today, it was enough, and her soul remained in her body.

The basement had been converted into her bedroom. She vented all her grievances in that room.

Lora befriended a wall, as she always did. She could speak even if no one responded. The treatment was inhumane for a young girl.

"I want to get out of this hellhole," she said to the spider. She wasn't alone; there was a small creature beside her. Even though the spider was constructing a web for its home, it moved as though in response to Lora's remarks.

Lora took charge of cleaning up this mess. She could hide in the basement. She felt severe pain while taking care of her heart while fleeing away from the blows and the harsh tongue.

"Perhaps something is going on that I'm not aware of because I've been here since birth," she grumbled as she searched for something. With her bare hands, she cleared the dungeon. The stairs to get to the main area were exhausting. Traitors in the group are dumped in the dungeons.

Lora didn't deserve to be there, according to royal law, because there was no strong proof that she was the daughter of a witch. Lora's mother had fled after giving birth to her daughter.

She lifted the brick in the north corner of the room as she emptied the dungeon more carefully.

"What is this book?" she inquired. The book was dusty, and the gold was almost faded, almost bronze. The title of the book was Life of the Witch. The book is about wizards and their interactions with the outer world.

Lora read the book, sentence by sentence. A strange planet, yet she wished to visit it.

The pages depicted a pleasant and quiet way of life. She saw herself growing up, her body perfect, producing beautiful curves with no scars, bruises, or blood flow in the corners of her lips.

"You can gain power by feeling that you have complete control over everything."

Lora read loudly because she felt safe there. Nobody would hear her.

She discovered a folded map in the middle yard. Thick light brown paper displaying a cardinal direction area.

"There's a portal to the outer world on the route to the northeast," she added cheerfully. Her crimson hair fluttered as she eagerly greeted the outer world.

She must leave this palace in three months, at the age of eighteen. She doesn't want to be a slave for the rest of her life. Despite the anguish, her lips smiled widely. Tina's clawed hands had left a deep scar.

"Lora quickly tucked the book under her clothes and returned upstairs; she needed to meet Barry to discuss ideas. She couldn't figure it out on her own. Her actions were foolish, and she needed to hide in the basement since there was too much danger outdoors.

Lora's fragile frame proceeded towards the kitchen, but Barry was nowhere to be found. She took a few steps towards the garden. Barry was watering the plants, could it be? The palace had several maids, but only Barry became Lora's buddy. Perhaps the others were terrified of being intimidated as well.

Tina is in the park with other girls. They were both cunning in intimidating Lora, and Tina had convinced them that Lora was the most dangerous woman.

"Look at that hideous woman!" Tina had called. She disregarded the exclamation as a passing breeze, feeling apprehensive. But she was mistaken; Tina was becoming enraged. The fan in her palm was flung against her skull, which hurt and was evocative.

Lora will fight Tina this time since she can no longer contain her rage. She turned around, unconcerned about anything else, including her status as a slave.

With her enraged face, her hand rested on Tina's left cheek.

SLAM!

Tina's rage was uncontrollable due to the red markings on her cheeks.

"Who- Wh-!!" Lora, how dare you come at me! her jaw dropped, and her eyes lit up!
