The conductor requested for his money and I just stared at him, unable to form words.
"You no go pay?" He eyed me, the ever present 'conductor fury' was starting to show.
He asked the driver to stop the bus so I could be thrown out due to failure at providing the fare after continuously pleading with him that I had no money.
The bus slowed down and the conductor dragged me immediately.
"Stop! Don't rough handle her,I'd pay the fare abeg." The man beside vindicated me.
" You go pay?" The conductor confirmed.
"I go pay." He nodded.
"You no know say you go talk since? Con dey waste my time." He sassed before hinting on the driver to keep moving.
