Chapter Twenty-Seven
It'd been two days and Junior was still acting the same to everyone except his dad. Aunty was getting worried by the day, I felt Junior drifting away slowly.
I made it a mission to find out what was wrong. I was presently in his room trying to get him to talk.
"Junior I've been watching you for the past two days, something is wrong and I'm sure of it, please talk to me. It's Atti." I assured. He still wore an unsure look.
"Junior baby, you know you can talk to me, trust me, you can confide in me, I promise I won't tell mummy." I cajoled.
" Promise?" He spoke after five minutes of staring at the ceiling.
"Promise." I said without hesitation.
"Let's go to your room." He got off the bed.
"Okay." I agreed before walking out, Junior two steps behind, keeping his distance.
"Now will you tell me what's wrong?" I questioned in a calm voice.

The past few days had been hell and I couldn't wait to go back to school, my heart still ached and I might just have to leave with it that way.I shed the last tear I had to spare on this issue, I was done crying. It was time to move on. I'd spent four whole days of my holiday crying over some boy who was probably living his best life somewhere in the world.I couldn't reach him and I guess it was pretty obvious, he'd blocked me on all platforms and avenues. "Welcome madam, this way please." The nurse directed Mrs Laura to Attracta's ward. "Oh my God!, Attracta!" Mrs Laura exclaimed before her hand flew to her mouth in pure shock. " I have to call her parents, I have to call her parents." She fumbled through her handbag for her phone. "Mrs Peters, Mrs Peters." She rambled as her hands shook vigorously whilst she searched through her contacts. "Hello madam." She tried to maintain herself. "Good evening ma, I was just about to call you ma, Attracta isn't home yet and I just arrived home, I went to search for her at school but the whole compound was empty.
