Chapter Twenty-Eight

I was glad I spoke to Junior yesterday and to say we had fun was an understatement. Junior was feeling better and it gladdened my heart. Even his family noticed he was more cheerful now.

Talking actually has an impact on people, words are indeed sharper than swords.

I woke up about thirty minutes ago and I'd been laying on the bed staring at the ceiling, being thankful for everything.

I could hear the voice of a woman conversing with JB at the gate. I peeped out my window. I had two windows in my room and could look through them to two different sides of the house.

I sighted a elderly woman in a black T-shirt and she was sporting the typical double wrapper style common among the Igbo tribe of Nigeria with a pair of that slipper-like wedge elderly women liked.

I couldn't see her face clearly but her gestures indicated  she was mad about something. She pointed a finger at JB and back at the front
