It was already past four In the evening when a knock sounded on the door of his study and Malcolm looked up from the work he was doing as his eyes flew to the door. He had one guess, it was either his son or one of his workers.

“Come on in”he answered in a deep husky voice and the figure standing outside the door had to breath In and out a few times before pushing the door open.

As soon as he saw who it was, Malcolm raised his brows in anticipation at what she had to say now.

“Sorry for the disturbance sir” Aurora apologized immediately biting her lips, her bad habit.

“What do you want?”he asked, his eyes going back to his laptop.

“Actually I have a very important meeting to catch up with and I can’t miss it, '' I already explained to Liam and he allowed me to go. I will make sure to come check on him as soon as I am done sir please” the words flowed out of her mouth like she already rehearsed it and by the way, she already did.
