Chapter 3

Stay Alive!!

"Arghhh... F*ck!!" I groaned as I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was an aged man dressed like a doctor.

He had me chained on the bed as he got rid of the wolfsbane with a fire. I kept on groaning in pain as it was excruciating.

"You have absolutely nothing to fear, Yifa!!" He paused as he arranged his spectacles properly. "You were unconscious when I saw you down the road, you were involved in an accident." He continued with the burning out of the wolfsbane from my body.

I had drifted into a deep sleep immediately he was done and the next time I woke up, I was in a completely different room now. It looked like a hospital but then it was so calm and empty.

"Yifa Moore, daughter of Erikson Moore of loving memories." He walked up to me as he moved the medical gloves he was wearing. "You were probably running away from Alpha Darwin's beta and warriors before you had that accident, you were lucky enough that I saved you before the car exploded." He smiled as he looked at me.

I was pretty uncomfortable being around him.

"I'm Nicklaus Bradford. A werewolf like you but I studied medicine in India. I couldn't let my fellow werewolf die when I could lay a helping hand. You're hungry??" He asked.

I nodded my head as he walked out, probably to get food for me to eat. I was finding a way to escape from the hall but no, I couldn't. Everywhere was well protected which made it impossible for me to escape through the windows.

"Are you alright??" He asked in a thick voice as he stood at the door, looking at me with a food tray in his hand.

"Uhmmm. I wanted to pee."

"That is not the way to the bathroom, it's over there." He pointed at the left side of the hall as I walked to the toilet to go pee.

I stayed there in the toilet, cursing and groaning as I couldn't find a way to escape and after a few minutes I flushed the toilet to make him believe that I just peed.

I couldn't trust anyone right now. He is a werewolf and he already knows that much about me, what if he hands me over to the Alpha??

"You can have your meal and then rest. I'll be returning to my apartment, I'll be back to check up on you." He explained to me before leaving me all to myself.

How could he know so much about me and I don't even have the slightest memory of who he was??

I was already starving because I had gone two days without food because Ulva wouldn't have any food left. I looked at myself in the mirror as I looked pale and my eyes were pretty heavy. I had forced myself into eating the meal he had dropped.

Once again, I felt my vision go blurry but this time around, it came with so much stomach pains as I crashed down from the bed to the floor as I clenched my stomach tight. I needed to stay alive.

I struggled to crawl on the floor as I headed to the door. "Did he poison my food?? What does he want from me??" I groaned as tears rolled down my cheeks.

The creaking sound of the door made me raise my head up as I saw Bradford approaching me. He was also blurry, my vision was failing me and the full moon was just right about to set.

He chuckled as he squatted down. "You are all mine tonight!!" He unbuckled his belt as he chuckled again. "I will have a taste of you before I hand you over to the Alpha, he is so wealthy and he will not think twice before compensating me." He scoffed as he moved his white coat from his body.

I watched him helplessly as he moved his trouser and shirt, leaving just his boxer on and singlet. He grabbed me from my head, pulling me up with so much aggression as he pinned me on the bed.

He hurriedly tore the blue hospital gown I was wearing as he pushed his right fingers inside my dry p**sy. The more I fought to break through, the more my wolf, Due, kept seething.

My eyes had caught with the full moon which was now visible and I couldn't go on fighting Due as I allowed her to take over. I was cursed already and I don't know what could possibly cure me. I was cursed to kill. Cursed to never have control of my wolf on full moon nights.

"What the heck!!" He pulled out of me as he fell to the ground, moving backwards on his butt.

I howled, not being in control of myself. My appetite was now voracious as I pounced on Bradford, ripping out the flesh around his neck as I sucked his blood. I fed on him as I ran away, breaking through the door.

My wolf, Due, had run into a nearby house. Barging into it with full force. I craved for more, I wanted more blood. I had killed the aged couples I had bumped into in the sitting room, in cold blood. I kept on drinking their blood and slowly, I felt my senses return as I transformed back to my human form.

"F**k!! What have I done??" I stood up in my unclad form as I looked around. "Sh!t!!" I cursed after realizing it was the doctor's family. They were Bradford's parents.

Out of guilt, I ran into the woods. Sooner or later the cops would be here and definitely, Darwin would send his beta and warriors to come search for me.

"Woah." I heard a deep voice from the dark as I was lost in the middle of nowhere in the woods. "Who do we have here??" The voice echoed again and I shifted back gradually, but then it was already late. I had kicked a stone as I fell to the ground.

"Please, I beg you, let me go!!" I knelt down on my knees as I pleaded with them. They were all hefty and thereabouts 6'6 feet tall. They were huge and had this strong smell of blood all over them.

"She will be our dinner tonight!!" Another one chuckled as he approached me. He froze a few steps away from me. And gradually, I saw them retreat immediately.

Why were they going backwards?? Are they now scared of me all of a sudden?? I couldn't understand why they all retreated and before I knew it, they all dispersed like they had seen a ghost.

I stood up on my feet as I turned to run away but then, my eyes collided with a burning red eyes. All I could see was an emotionless eyes, one that came with so much rage and hate.

I crashed down on my butt. "Alpha Darwin!!"
