MAVIN WHITE:
After finishing my bath, I stepped into my bedroom to put on a casual blue top and black trousers.
I walked toward the mirror to comb my short black hair, as I didn't keep a beard. I noticed sore, finger-scratch marks around my neck. While taking my bath, I realized it was Thelma's doing.
I frowned as my mind recalled the moment I had entered her warmth. Memories of what had happened between me and Thelma began to resurface.
No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t bring myself to forget the previous night. My head ached at the remembrance, and I groaned in annoyance.
"Damn it!" Even though the medicine or whatever drug Adam had given me had worn off, I was still experiencing hot flashes and headaches.
I thought I should warn Adam never to try such nonsense with me again or follow my grandpa's orders. If he did, he would be fired and possibly thrown in jail.
Adam Howard was a 53-year-old man who had been with me for a long time. He liked calling me "boss" because he said it motivated me and reminded me of my rank and who I was in City B.
I sighed and walked away from the mirror after applying my perfume. I left my bedroom and went downstairs to accompany my grandfather to the hospital as promised.
Grandpa was smiling throughout, like someone who had won a trophy. He was already neatly dressed in a brown garment. I walked toward the dining room to have breakfast with him.
I took a seat at the long golden dining table, across from my grandfather, and told him, "Grandpa, I'm not happy with what you did last night."
"What did I do wrong, Mavin?" Grandpa's smile remained bright on his old face. I knew he was fully aware of what he had done.
"Aren't you the one who arranged for Adam to send that young lady to me last night? Why, Grandpa?" I was very angry saying this. I had gone through my grandfather's will, which stated that if I didn't marry before the year ended, he would give away his company and hotel to the poor, now that he was still alive. I had only two months left before the year ended, and the date was October 18.
"Don't ask me why, Mavin. And it's not like she's ugly. Don’t you like the young woman that Adam brought to you last night? We can look for her again and bring her back if you want her, or find another woman for you," Grandpa said as he waited for Angela to come out of the kitchen with his herbal tea. I replied, "No, Grandpa. I don't need her again. And don’t ever try to do that with me again. I won’t take it lightly with you." I slightly warned him, and he hummed, "Hmm..."
Angela was the head maid in my mansion, which belonged to me since I bought it five years ago when I turned 24.
We moved out from the old family house, which had been our general family home and Grandpa's house.
"Good morning, Mr. White. What should I serve you this morning?" Angela politely asked me as she finished serving my grandfather his herbal tea, the way he liked it.
I sighed and stared away from Grandpa's face to look at Angela's yellow complexion. She was a middle-aged woman, and most of the female staff who worked in my mansion were middle-aged—except for the younger maids I wasn't so familiar with, as my mansion was very large and spacious with many rooms.
"Just tea and bread. Make it quick; we’re already running late," I told Angela, glancing at the dining room wall clock. It was already 9 AM.
I sighed again, knowing that Grandpa's treatment time was around 10 AM with his doctor. I waited for Angela to serve my breakfast.
After finishing my tea with Grandpa at the dining table, I stood up and escorted him outside to my car. He sat in the backseat, and I closed the door for him before hopping into the driver's seat.
I started the car and drove out of my premises, making my way around the city. I arrived at the magnificent Saint Peter Hospital in City B, parked in the hospital lot, and stepped out of my car. I walked around to assist Grandpa in stepping down as we walked into the hospital lobby.
My mind kept drifting back to the pretty yellow lady I had slept with the previous night.
The way her body had felt so soft made me harder. Every time I glanced at any pretty fair-skinned lady with blonde hair in the OPD section of the hospital, my heart skipped a beat as I imagined the blonde lady was Thelma.
"Oh, oh!" I grimaced. Grandpa stared at my face and asked, "What’s the matter with you, Mavin? Are you still thinking about that young lady?"
"No, Grandpa," I replied coldly. We walked over to a chair and sat down as I accompanied Grandpa to wait in the OPD waiting room.
I took out my phone, unlocked the screen, and called my office assistant, Henry Black.
"Hello, boss," Henry answered immediately when the call connected on the second ring.
"Inform Mrs. Tonia Briggs that I won’t be arriving at the office on time today. I went to the hospital with Grandpa, and she should reschedule most of my business meetings with top clients for noon. Meanwhile, you can attend to the rest that are arriving," I instructed Henry. He was my trusted assistant, helping me monitor all my company activities in my absence.
"Alright, boss. Anything else?" Henry asked.
"No. That's all," I replied.
I ended the call and continued waiting for the queue to reduce until it was my grandpa's turn.
Soon, we stood up from the guest seats and walked into the doctor's office.
Grandpa was an 85-year-old man. Yet, he could walk without a cane and was still mischievous in nature.
"Good morning, Mr. White," Dr. Amari Hanks smiled at us. She was my grandfather's favorite doctor.
Grandpa loved being treated by women, and Dr. Amari asked him, "How are you feeling today, Grandpa Charlie White?"
"I’m good," Grandpa replied with a smile, while I sat silently beside him in the guest chair.
My mind was preoccupied with new memories of the previous night between me and Thelma.
The fact that Sir Adam had told me he hadn’t paid Thelma yet made me feel guilty as I recalled all the nasty things I had done to her when we made love.
I couldn’t believe that what Sir Adam had given me would have such a strong effect on me. I needed to find Thelma quickly to pay her off for the night we shared together and to alleviate my guilt about my actions with her.
"Are you feeling fine today, Mr. Mavin?" Dr. Amari asked me, preferring to call me by my name.
I met her big brown eyes staring at me and replied, "Yes, I’m fine. Attend to my grandpa first, as I’m not a patient."
"But you're sweating a lot, despite the air conditioning in my office. Sometimes it's good to have a bodily check-up, rather than waiting until your body totally collapses before you seek help," Dr. Amari advised me politely. I replied, "Okay, I will consider it, but not today, as I didn’t plan to do any check-up. I have a business meeting to attend at noon."
I was still in pain, but I didn’t want to be confined to a hospital bed.
Dr. Amari smiled sadly and said, "It's just friendly advice, Mr. Mavin. But I can run a quick check-up on you if you want it done fast."
"No, that won't be necessary," I replied, meeting Dr. Amari's gaze. She was a married woman, yet she had a flirtatious way of speaking that irritated me. She was young, with a flirty demeanor.
It was clearly written all over her face and in her movements. Her big brown eyes shone seductively, like a happy puppy.
At least now I understood better why she had so many sick patients waiting outside her office door, in line to see her. Even those who weren’t truly ill seemed eager to visit her hospital just for her touch.
I guessed that was why my grandpa always loved visiting her hospital. It belonged to her family and had been handed down to her by her father as an inheritance since it was an enormous building.
I heard Dr. Amari was happily married, and I was sure that Grandpa would wish Dr. Amari was a single young lady so he could propose to her on my behalf.
But I didn’t like her, and I only tolerated her flirtatious behavior because of my grandpa and the fact that she was now my family doctor.
"Grandpa, you look so happy today. What’s the good news?" Dr. Amari asked him.
Grandpa smiled as she finished checking his vital signs. He replied, "I’m just happy to see you today, Doc."
"Hmm," Dr. Amari blushed, her big brown eyes sparkling again, reminding me of the big blue-eyed lady I had slept with the previous night.
"That's good to hear, Grandpa. I’ve written out some of your new medication, and you can meet with the nurses on duty to get it before you leave. Thank you for visiting us today, Grandpa," Dr. Amari said as we stood up to leave her office.
"Thanks," Grandpa replied, but I didn’t say a word. I exited her office with Grandpa, and we went home shortly after collecting his medication from the hospital pharmacy.
[Thelma's POV:]I stared back at the huge white door in front of me, afraid of the masculine figure that wanted to step out.Knowing that Sir Adam had told me to go into the room, I was scared and stood nervously in my long red gown.I could hear the scattering of something inside the room, and I was seriously afraid, feeling the need to pee in my pants. Before I knew it, I was taking some steps backward, as I could hear the sound of the imposing footsteps approaching the door. As I jumped back to scramble out of the room, just then, the door unlocked.A tall man in a white top and black shorts walked out. He stared at me in shock as his silver eyes met my blue orbs."Who the hell are you?" He asked, taken aback by my presence.I was struck in awe by the man's handsomeness. He was a dark-skinned man, very handsome, with silver eyes and a formidable figure.I struggled to say who I am as I stared at him in disbelief. The man held his head like he was in pain and staggered to meet me."
Mavin.Three months had past since I lastly went to Conrad Sabastain mansion. Steven didn't want to speak with me, nor to allow me into their company as their bodyguards were very mean.I went to take my bath in my bathroom as it was a bright Monday morning and I was in my bedroom on the second floor of my mansion.I had a lot of works to do in office, so I went to bath as the time was still after 7am, and the day was September 15 on the calendar.I felt a bit familiar with the date, knowing that the day seem special but I couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was as my rather was rather preoccupied with going to my company. The year was almost coming to an end again, and I had to prepare for the end of the year awards.Although I hadn't seen any new company in city B that could compete with mine so I was not even bothered.I stepped out from my bathroom as I was through with my bath. I dried my short black jet hair and also applied my body cream before I wore my black suit and set to lea

He looked so handsome In his black suit and finally got into his car and left."Mavin! Ah!" I felt my water broke, and my babies were coming out."Ah! My tummy!" I winced out again, and my older brother immediately rushed upstairs to my room, Like he heard my voice."Thelma, are you alright?" Steven asked me, as he looked worried, rushing up to meet me, and at the same time angry."My babies, They are coming out Steven" I told Steven, and he assisted me, while we went downstairs to his carI was taken to the hospital, crying as I really wanted to know what happened earlier. Why did my father sent Mavin White away?"Thelma you have to push your babies out now," My mother said to me, and I was crying seriously."No, Mom, I want to see Mavin, why did father send him away?" THELMA:'Is this a dream?' - I had asked myself, as I couldn't believe that Mavin would really messaged me."No, Is not a dream" I said, and typed my response to him - "I am fine and you?.*Good* - Mavin replied. He didn't even waited a single second and I wonder what he's up too?.Is he missing me like I missed him too?.Does he want to speak with me?.I was afraid but at the same time curious to know.I got a message notification popup from him, and he asked - *How about your family?.*I frowned and wondered if Mavin also knew about the fact that Steven and him were brothers, Yet he slept with me and pretended like he knew nothing about it.I didn't replied and felt sadder. I remember the day that Mavin had sent me away from his office tooHe had s*X with me in his office. Yet he was so bold to throw me out and not even glancing at me again. The anger in his eyes on that very day was enough to show to me, how much of disgust that he had for meI kept staring at my phone screen in si
MAVIN:I went to inspect the new company as it's a working Monday morning. So far Grandpa hadn't been disturbing me about marrying anyone again, even as it is a brand new year.I was still contemplating on my decision in going to Thelma's father mansion and to ask for her hand in marriage.I closed at my office at 5pm, and I stood up to leave for home. I only arrived at the company to inspect the progress levels of the new companies that I visited and to save the records on my computer and sign out for the day.I wore a black trouser and ash grey shirt with my suit jacket rested on my right arm while I left the company building and went outside to my carI got into my car, as I had a hectic day.I started my car engine and drove homeArriving home, I saw Grandpa seated at the garden while I parked my car and locked it up before walking up to meet him there. The sun had gone down, and Grandpa smiled as he watch me approaching him."Good evening Grandpa" - I greeted and he smiled."Welc
