Chapter 1

(Thelma)

I sat up carefully in bed and stared at the handsome, dark-skinned man sleeping beside me.

Our night together was unforgettable. I could still feel the throbbing between my thighs from his hard pounding.

How had it all started?

Sandra and Ella, my so-called best friends, had ridiculed me for still being a virgin at twenty-four. The realization stung; I felt foolish in their eyes.

I rushed to the club, desperate to drown my sorrows in whatever liquor they had. But then, a man approached. "Hello, miss," he said.

I stared back, wondering what he wanted. I was too miserable to care.

He snatched the bottle from my hand and dragged me outside.

"Who are you? Let me go!" I screamed, my red, slim-fitted gown and low black heels doing little to help me.

As the only daughter and sole heir of BeeH Group, I was used to people not interfering. The other patrons in the bar remained lost in their drinks, seemingly oblivious.

"Calm down, miss. I don't mean any harm," the man said. I paused, studying his face.

He wore a black suit and looked older, a middle-aged man, probably in his forties.

I'd never fantasized about an affair with a man old enough to be my uncle. I struggled to free my hand.

"Calm down, miss. I don't mean any harm," he repeated, pulling me to a quieter corner of the bar.

"If you don't mean any harm, let go of my hand," I demanded. He sighed. "Look, miss, I need your help. I think you're perfect for the job."

"What job?" My sharp blue eyes scrutinized his dark face.

Was he a boss or a servant here in City B? Only billionaires could afford to live here. What help could this man possibly need from me?

I was fair-skinned, and slender. He continued, "I know you don't know me, but I saw you rush in here. I can tell you're heartbroken."

"So what do you need me for?" I asked impatiently. He released my left hand. "I want you to spend the night with my boss."

"What? Your... your what?" I asked, incredulous.

I was the daughter of the richest man in City B. How dare he offer me such a proposition?

Still reeling from my friends' insults, I heard him say, "I'll pay you handsomely, miss. But please, come with me now. We don't have time to waste."

I wanted to refuse.

First, I didn't know this man.

Second, I'd never gone out with a stranger before. My father's bodyguards always heavily guarded me.

Even now, after I'd slipped away, they were likely still on the ground floor, unaware of my escape. I had changed into the red gown after my friends had poured wine and water on me in the private hall, where they had finally laughed at me.

I decided to follow the elderly man. He seemed responsible and honest, and, more likely, I wanted to lose my virginity quickly to avoid my friends from ridiculing me again.

My father wanted to trade me for marriage with a top Billionaire son, but he hasn't found the right match for me, whom meet with his requirements of the type of groom that he want me to marry.

I silently followed the man to the parking lot. We got into the car. Two bodyguards sat silently in the back as I sat in the front with him.

We arrived at a magnificent building. I wondered who owned such a powerful mansion.

"Step down, miss," the middle-aged man said. I realized I hadn't even asked his name.

I gulped and stepped out. "Come with me, miss."

I followed him into the building.

The building looked as powerful as my father's mansion. Guards in black uniforms stood stationed around the premises.

"Welcome, Sir Adam," young maids greeted the old man. They bowed respectfully to me as well. I waved dismissively, surprised by my own action. Sir Adam looked surprised too, but quickly said, "Follow me, miss."

I followed Sir Adam upstairs to the second floor. He paused. "My boss is in here. Please wait while I attend to him."

"Okay," I replied, scared and curious about the owner of this place.

Was he my father's age or a handsome young man?

I admired the artistic paintings on the wall, depicting ancient warriors.

I stood admiring the beautiful views of the second floor lounge, and Sir Adam later stepped out, and he said to me "Come inside, miss."

I gulped and followed Sir Adam into the sitting room. And I could feel all the air in my body stood up in fret, at the cold air conditioning blowing my yellow skin.

The sitting room was painted in white, and every items in the sitting was white and almost invisible to me. And Sir Adam said, "Look miss, Just do whatever my boss want you to do, as I have drugged him to have sex with you."

"You what?!" My eyes widened in shock at the revelation.

"I'm not a prostitute," I said, Incase if that's what Sir Adam thought of me, when he saw me rushed into the clubbing area.

"I know miss, just go in there, and you will meet with my boss, I promise to pay you heavily as discussed, and I will take you back home to wherever you came from safely."

"Is this a joke? Pay me how much?" I asked Sir Adam inquisitively. As I wasn't broke, and I was a billionaire daughter, and I owned a black card.

So how much does Sir Adam thinks that he could pay me?.

"1 million dollars" He said, and I chuckled out laughing.

"I'm weigh more than that, Sir.. And I cannot go in there, I'm scared," I replied, as I was afraid of whom was the man in the bedroom? That Sir Adam was asking me to go in and see.

"Please Miss," Sir Adam begged me.

"Just call me Thelma," I said. As I didn't want to mentioned my father's last name. As at the mentioned of Sebastian in City B. It was easy for anyone else in City B, to know who my father was. Being that my family is among the richest in City B.

"Okay Miss Thelma, but we cannot continue to delay my boss. Just name how much that you want, and I will speak to my old master about it."

"Your old master? Who's that?" I asked, but just then, I heard a deep male masculine voice asked out of within the room door in front of us, and I froze. As the voice sounded so powerful and very cold.

"Please go inside there, Miss Thelma, I will be outside here, waiting for you" Sir Adams quickly sneaked out of the sitting room. And he shut the sitting room door on me, and leaving only me standing in the white room, as I stared back at the door.
