Jace's POV

Miserable is a nice way to put how I have been for the past 3 days, Paige is still being so cold and Jay won't stop pushing me to go visit mum. I have not seen her for 3 years now, so why has become such an issue,

"Why have you been moodier than usual these past few days?" Brandon asked as we walked into my office,

"It's nothing" I mumbled, increasing my pace to avoid his questions,

"Tell that to someone just met you and who doesn't know you" he replied with a chuckle,

"It's nothing serious just drop it" I insisted, I really don't want to talk,

"So you won't talk to me, but you would talk to Paige" he teased, making me roll my eyes,

"Don't let me remind me of instances where you would rather talk to Lisa than talk to me" I teased back with a small smile, and he smiled back with no argument, he knew what he just did and it worked,

"I just can't shake this feeling off" I finally succumbed,
