Chapter Six
Cassandra's POV
Three weeks later
"I think I'm going to be sick," I rushed to the small bathroom in the hotel to empty my breakfast of spaghetti and meatballs in the toilet. After cleaning up I laid down on the bed. My phone buzzed from the bedside table, it was Martha.
"Hello, Martha," I said
"Hey Cass, how have you been?" Martha asked.
"I am not fine, I think I am going to be sick. I've been feeling dizzy and nauseous for the past week now," I blurted out.
"Nauseous?"
"Yeah," I replied.
"Oh...My...God." Martha exclaimed.
"What Martha?" I asked curiously.
"I think you might be pregnant."
"Pregnant! how sure are you?" I asked.
"Nausea, dizziness, they are symptoms of pregnancy Cass," Martha said then I heard a knock on the door.
"Hold on Martha, someone is at the door. " I walked over to the door and opened it. I saw a pair of ocean blue eyes stare at me and I froze at the door.
"Prince Rodriguez," I was surprised, it was unusual seeing Mr. Arrogant at my door.
"Cass," Martha said from the other end of the phone.
"Martha I'll call you back," I said and hung up on Martha before she could reply.
"What do you want?" I stared at the arrogant-looking man standing in front of me.
"Would you at least let me in first?" A wide grin was spread on his face.
"Oh, I'm sorry my manners, come in." There was a hint of sarcasm in my voice. He smiled at me and walked into the small room, his huge body making it look smaller.
"Why are you here?" I asked again, feeling angry.
"Emelia forced me to come to check on you since she couldn't come. She is at her mother's place in Paris. Besides, why are you acting all rude, you should be happy and excited that the prince of Andalusia came to see you."
"Okay, you have seen me now, thank you very much. You can leave now." I pointed at the door.
"Why are you in a rush to get me out of here? It seems like you are afraid of me." He asked with a smirk on his face.
"I have got things to do, I was busy before you came in," I replied while he kept staring at me with piercing blue eyes.
"Don't tell me you have been working?"
"And how is that any of your business?" I was getting furious at the man staring at me. If he bosses people around, he can't do that with me.
"It's because you may be carrying my child, and you are not supposed to work or do anything stressful according to what the doctor told me. " He crossed his arms over his chest.
"Thank you very much for your concern, but I am not the type that sits around all day doing nothing," I answered this time I tried pushing him out the door but he didn't move an inch from where he stood.
Aaaargh, how did I get myself into this? I might be pregnant and Mr arrogant here refuses to leave my room, I hate my life. I glared at the arrogant man in front of me.
"Listen, Miss Valdez, I will not leave here until you promise to stop whatever work you're doing."
"Why do you care so much anyway?" I asked.
"Let me remind you again, you may be carrying my child. My heir. So get used to it." He answered. "Besides I don't care about you, all I care about is the child you may be carrying." He moved towards me and gripped my shoulders tightly.
"Get your hands off me," I said but he refused to let go. "Leave me alone." My shoulders were beginning to hurt.
"Please stop hurting me." I pleaded tears were already rolling down my cheeks.
"I'll leave now." He released his firm grip on my shoulders and walked towards the door
"Remember don't work or stress yourself." He added a frown had made its way up to his face."Okay, just lea..." I fell to the floor before I could complete my statement.
"Cass." My name was the last thing I heard before black dots engulfed my vision.
****Beep! Beep! Beep!I woke up to the sound of an annoying beep. Where am I? I studied my surroundings and realized it was a hospital. Why am I in a hospital room?
I sat up on the bed and tried to remember what happened and why I was here. I remember arguing with prince Rodriguez, I told him to leave but can't remember what happened next. Who brought me here?
"You're awake, how do you feel now?" Sam asked his face offering a warm smile.
"Better, still a little dizzy though," I replied looking straight at the doctor, I didn't want to see Mr. Arrogant's face right now.
"Don't worry about the dizziness, it's normal considering your condition. All you need is rest." The doctor stated while writing something down in his notepad.
"Here, get this vitamin for her." Sam handed a piece of paper to prince Rodriguez then walked out of the room.
What condition I hope it's not what I'm thinking. I summoned up all the courage left in me then asked.
"What does the doctor mean by condition, I mean is anything wrong?" Prince Rodriguez looked up at me and smiled, this is the first time I saw him smile.
"You are pregnant."
"Pregnant!"
Why are you acting all surprised? you should have expected this. My subconscious scolded"I don't like repeating myself but yes pregnant. The pregnancy tests came in positive." I felt the urge to cry as prince Rodriguez repeated that I was pregnant.
You were paid for this, so don't embarrass yourself in front of this arrogant man. I pep-talked myself inwardly.
"Get dressed, I'll go sign your discharge papers." He instructed and walked out of the room. I quickly changed back into the purple halter top and white jean trousers I was wearing this morning.
A few minutes later I walked out of the hospital building with prince Rodriguez. He helped me into the Grey SUV then took his seat next to me in the car.
"Delouise, take us to the mansion." Prince Rodriguez instructed Delouise, his driver.
"Why are we going to the mansion?" I asked.
"That is your new home." Prince Rodriguez replied while looking at something on his phone.
"What do you mean new home? I can stay at the hotel." I know I was supposed to move into the mansion with Emelia and the prince but I didn't expect it to be immediately it was confirmed that I was pregnant.
"You are carrying my child so you will be living under my roof. Perhaps you have forgotten that it was stated in the contract you signed." He replied, still maintaining a calm posture but his face reflected annoyance.
"What about my clothes and my phone? I can't just leave them there." I tried to get Mr. Arrogant to reason with me. He looked up from his phone and answered,
"I have that sorted out, as for your phone you will get it this evening and I'll get new clothes for you."
"What is wrong with my old clothes?" I asked.
"You know for a man of my status it won't be right to be seen around a woman fifty-dollar cloth, it just doesn't speak well of me." He responded with a smirk.
"Jerk." I murmured under my breath.
"Did you say something?" he asked.
"No." I lied.
"Better." He said then went back to whatever he was doing on his phone while I looked out the window and thought of how I got myself into this situation.
I am sitting next to an arrogant prince who doesn't seem to care about anyone but himself and I am carrying his child.
When we got to the mansion, prince Rodriguez got out of the car and left me sitting there.
How rude, I thought and got out of the car myself. I walked into the big mansion, directed by Delouise.
"Mary, please show Miss Valdez to her room," Delouise instructed Mary, the same maid who had ushered me in the last time I was here.
"Come with me, Miss," Mary said and directed me up the stairs to my new room.
"This is your room, Miss," Mary opened the door to a room and I gasped at how huge the room was. The walls were painted blue, the curtains were white, the queen-sized bed was covered with blue bed sheets matching the color of the wall, there was also a huge walk-in closet and bathroom.
"It's beautiful," I said out loud while admiring the huge room.
"If you need anything I'll be downstairs in the kitchen," Mary said and I nodded.
"Okay, thank you," I replied and shut the door after Mary left the room. I hopped onto the queen-sized bed and allowed myself to drift off to sleep, putting all of my problems aside.

Chapter SevenCassandra's POVI woke up feeling all groggy and hungry. I stood from the bed and walked over to the bathroom to take a warm shower which by the way was very refreshing, I went into the walk-in closet and picked up a straight white off-shoulder dress which hung onto my body bringing out all of my curves.I wasn't comfortable with the dress but I had no other option than to wear it since Mr arrogant doesn't want me to wear my old clothes, apparently, it was cheap and demeaning to his status. I let my hair flow free on my shoulder and slipped my legs in pink flat shoes.Who knew in a matter of weeks I'll be living with the prince of Andalusia, carrying his child and wearing fancy clothes. I thought as I went down to the stairs to the kitche
