{Roxellena POV}

“Rox!”

“Rox!!”

“Roxellena!!!”

I flinched at the sharp echo of my name bouncing off the classroom walls”

“Yes, Mrs. Bela?”

The teacher planted herself directly in front of my desk, hands planted firmly on her hips. “What was the last thing I said?”

My mind stayed blank. All I could focus on was the low rumble of engines outside and the long convoy of sleek black cars that had pulled into the school compound earlier. I guessed someone important had come to visit.

Mrs. Bela didn’t wait for an answer. She turned on her heel and marched toward the whiteboard, heels clicking against the tiled floor. “Fine. What was the topic we were discussing?”

I sank lower in my seat. Even if she fired a hundred questions at me, I wouldn’t have a clue. My mind was not here today.

“Ms. Roxellena Charming.” Her voice dropped into that disappointed tone I knew too well. “I don’t know what has gotten into you lately, but it isn’t good. It certainly won’t help you graduate with flying colours or make your parents proud.”

The words stung more than they should have. I started shoving notebooks into my bag.

“Look at your sister Rosa,” she continued. “Top of her class. Why can’t you…”

That was it. The second her name left Mrs. Bela’s mouth, I stood up, chair scraping loudly against the floor.

“You dare not walk out of my presence, Ms. Roxellena!”

I didn’t even glance back. “Watch me,” I muttered under my breath as I pushed through the door, my bag swinging heavily against my shoulder.

I pushed through the crowded hallway, bag slapping against my side, and headed straight for the canteen, still fuming.

The canteen buzzed with the usual lunchtime chaos, clattering trays, overlapping laughter, and the greasy aroma of fried food. I dropped into my usual seat across from my friends, staring at the tray piled with burgers, chips, and three four cups of strawberry juice.

Jessica took a long sip through her straw, then brushed a loose strand of hair from her eyes. “Okay, I’m just gonna say it. What you did in class today was straight-up shitty.”

James leaned back, his tall frame making the plastic chair look tiny. His deep voice rumbled out, sounding far too mature for his skinny neck. “I’m with Jess on this one. Not cool, Rox.”

Among the four of us, he was the tallest, though not the richest yet he was easily the funniest. Together, we were all turning 19 this year. Jessica had been the first, born in April; James and John shared the month of May, while mine fell in November.

I poked at a chip, avoiding their eyes. “Come on, guys. Mrs. Bela was comparing me to Rosa,the same bully who makes my life miserable every single day. You know how she is.” I finally looked up. “I thought you’d have my back.”

John had been quiet, methodically dipping chips into ketchup. We called him Little Prof for good reason. He adjusted his spectacles, scratched his bald head, and gave me a look of pure disappointment.

“You weren’t just wrong, Rox. You were rude, stubborn, disrespectful…”

“Hold up,” I said, raising my hand before he could launch into full lecture mode.

“Now you see why I said you acted rude,” John replied, looking at me with a face full of disgust as he scratched his bald head. The bald look suited him perfectly, especially when he wore his spectacles.

John was the shortest of us all but also the thickest. He had the body frame of a twenty-five-year-old gym-goer trapped in a nineteen-year-old’s body. He had inherited his father’s build as well as his intelligence.

Since John wasn’t on my side today either, I began formulating an apology,not just to my friends, but to Mrs. Bela as well.

I cleared my throat, set down my strawberry juice, and said, “From the bottom of my heart… I’m sorry. I acted like an idiot today. I hope you can forgive me.”

Jessica’s face softened instantly. “Aww, Rox…”

“He’s so handsome,” she whispered suddenly, eyes widening as she stared past me.

I quickly realised she wasn’t looking at me, so I turned around. Just then, the canteen door swung.The entire canteen seemed to drop in temperature as the sexiest , most annoyingly perfect guy I’d ever seen stepped through the doors.

  • Alpha Adrain   {C7:My Territory, My Rules}

    Alpha Adrain POV The moment I stepped into the hall, I knew it was her. Her full, plus-size figure commanded the simple wooden chair she sat on, making it look far too small.Her friend sat close beside her, while my guards stood watchfully behind them. And at the far right, lounging like he owned the place, was Jason. The bully. Seeing his smug face ignited a blazing fury in my veins. My wolf surged forward, clawing at my control, demanding blood.I wanted nothing more than to shift right there, pin him to the ground that belonged to me, and tear him apart.This school might be his hunting ground, but here in my territory, he was nothing but prey. He had eleven months ahead of him, and I intended to make every single one a lesson in respect.I strode past my guards. They bowed their heads in silent reverence. Climbing onto the raised dais that faced the offenders, I introduced myself with cool authority, then turned to my head guard.“Fighting,” I announced, my voice booming through

  • Alpha Adrain   {C6:In camp }

    {Roxellena POV}The journey to Alpha Pascal’s territory dragged on far longer than I had expected. Hour after hour, the same endless line of trees blurred past the car windows, their green monotony pressing down on me like a weight. But the real torture wasn’t the road,it was sitting in silence while my own family laughed and chatted just inches away, as if I were invisible.Lady Gerty dominated the conversation, her voice sharp and relentless. “Remember, girl, at that training camp you will speak only when spoken to. Keep your head down and your mouth shut. We’ve had enough of your nonsense.” She and Rosa exchanged knowing glances before launching into a string of lies about me, how I was lazy, disrespectful, ungrateful. Dad nodded along without a word.“At least you’ll finally have some fresh air,” Rosa sneered, twisting in her seat to look straight at me. “The cupcake in the oven won’t miss you anymore. The fat rat is gone for months.” She smirked at her mother. Laughter exploded t

  • Alpha Adrain   {C5:Until the mate come }

    { Adrian POV}“Who am I to you?” Eliana asked, her head resting on my chest. “Where is this thing going?” Her blue eyes searched mine, bright even in the dim light of the room. Our legs were tangled beneath the leopard-print blanket, her warmth pressed against me.My mind drifted elsewhere, eyes fixed on the ceiling. The question barely registered.“Where is this thing going?” she repeated, her fingers gently turning my jaw so I had to face her“Wherever you wish it to go,” I murmured, trailing my hand slowly down the smooth curve of her back. “Until the end.”“What do you mean by ‘the end’?”She rolled off me and sat up, turning her back to me. The blanket slipped down around her waist.“You know what I’m talking about,” I said quietly. “All of this has to end when I finally find my mate…”“Your mate!” Eliana cut in sharply, twisting to glare at me. “You still buy into that garbage?” She snatched her stuff from the floor“And yet what you didn’t believe manifested for you.   • Alpha Adrain   {C4:Punishment or Salvation}

    { Roxellena POV}I barely remembered how I got home after yesterday’s bloodbath. Jessica’s brother had been our saviour. The one who picked us up from the chaos and dropped each of us at our respective houses. When I finally slipped through the front door, Rosa was already lounging on the couch like she owned the place.“So you decided to show up,” she sneered, her lip curling in disgust. I quietly walked past her, jaw tight, refusing to give her the satisfaction of a reaction.If only she knew I had nearly been torn apart by rogue wolves while searching for “her”during the attack. I had risked everything for someone who had never once shown me an ounce of care. There was no point telling her. She wouldn’t care. She never did.“My mum wants to see you,” she called after me just as I reached the door to my cramped room under the stairs.I retreated and changed direction, climbing the stairs and walking down the passage that led to step Mum’s room.“Come in,” Lady Gerty’s sharp voice

  • Alpha Adrain   {C3:The Weight of the Unmated}

    { Adrain POV}The drive home felt longer than usual. I stared out the tinted window of the SUV, jaw tight, replaying the cafeteria incident. Whoever that loud-mouthed idiot was, he had the devil’s own luck on his side. One wrong word from him and I would have painted the walls red. Thank the Goddess I kept my cool today. I couldn’t afford another disaster,not on my first day, and not on my third attempt at college. The last two had ended in blood and expulsion.“Alpha Adrian,” Max’s calm voice broke the silence, “your quarters or the main mansion?” “Main mansion,” I muttered. “I need to report to them.”The SUV rolled smoothly into the compound and stopped before the towering modern structure with its striking cube-like architecture and large windows.I stepped out, the cool evening air brushing against my skin, and pushed open the heavy front door.Warm, savoury aromas wrapped around me instantly,roasted meat, spices, and something sweet. My parents were in the dining room. I f

    {Roxellena POV}“It looks like your crush got himself in trouble,” John said, a knowing smirk tugging at his lips.He was right. I had no idea how he always knew when I was crushing on someone, but he was annoyingly good at it. My stomach twisted. How did he always see right through me? I hadn’t even realized I was staring until John pointed it out. The new guy sat in Jason’s usual seat like he owned it, completely unaware of the storm heading his way.I pushed back from the table, the plastic chair scraping loudly against the tiled floor, and hurried across the crowded cafeteria.I was only a few steps away when I frozeJason and his entourage had already walked in. “No, no, no. This is not good.” In seconds, they surrounded the stranger like sharks circling blood in the water. Jason clamped a hand on the new guy’s shoulder, leaning in to whisper something. Whatever it was, it made his crew smirk with cruel amusement, their eyes gleaming.Heart hammering, I forced myself forwar
