The Connection

Ashier was seething with anger as he paced back and forth in his chamber. He couldn't believe that he had let his guard down and fallen for Nora's trap. He clenched his fists tightly and his jaw was set as he replayed the events of the previous night in his mind. He felt violated and disgusted, and he couldn't shake off the feeling of being used.

As he walked back and forth, he kicked a chair that was in his way, sending it flying across the room. His anger was growing with each passing second, and he couldn't seem to calm himself down. He blamed himself for letting his guard down and for trusting Nora, who he now realized was nothing but a conniving and manipulative person.
