29. Amber's motive
He lies next to me, his eyes drifting close with a satisfied look on his face and I wonder how long he had been waiting for this, waiting for me to give him my virginity.
I had decided I was ready when I was locked up, being away from him had been driving me nuts, the pain from not seeing my mate was nothing I wanted to experience again but hearing his voice all the time was the one thing that reassured me, even when I couldn’t talk back to him.
His arm reaches out and wraps around my waist, pulling me tightly into him “You are not going anywhere” he whispers and he presses his lips against my cheek, the stubble from his jaw grazing against my skin, it was an odd sensation, yet I enjoyed it.
A firm knock raps on the door and Daryl groans letting go of me so I can go to the walk in and he can grab some clothes.

16th September 2021 Hey everyone, Thank you all so much for reading this far, I really appreciate it and would be grateful for any feedback. I know some of you are eager to find out the next bit of the story and Daryl's curse, and for those thinking he may be a bit of a lousy Alpha, all will be revealed I promise but i am going to be away from tomorrow the 17th until the 21st of September with very limited internet access but when I am back, I will be doing a bulk upload for you all.
