The white pearly hairy werewolf ran through the woods with an angry determination, her muscles tensed and her eyes blazed with a fiery intensity. Her long legs propelled her forward with each stride, her powerful claws digging into the earth with each step.
Her fur bristled with frustration, the pearly white now dulled by the anger that coursed through her veins. Her snarling lips revealed sharp teeth, as she sniffed the air in search of the source of her anger.
She moved with a sense of urgency as if she was on a mission. Her ears were pinned back, and her tail was held low, a clear indication of her aggressive state. The wolf ran with a sense of purpose, driven by the need to find and confront whatever has provoked her.
As she ran, she left a trail of destruction in her wake. Her claws tore into the ground, and branches snapped and break as she pushed through the dense forest. Her howl echoed through the woods, signaling to any other creatures that she is not to be trifled with.
The werewolf's eyes were narrowed, focused on her target. Her anger had sharpened her senses, making her even more deadly than usual. She moved with a speed and ferocity that are awe-inspiring, her every movement precise and calculated.
Lyra sauntered backward slowly from where she stood, she could see the fury at which the wolf was running towards her, but she couldn't even bring herself to move an inch.
She wanted to scream and run for safety but it just seemed like her legs were rooted to the ground and all efforts to move away proved abortive.
As the wolf reached her target, she launched herself at her. Lyra shut her eyes tightly immediately, expecting the worst as she opened her mouth wide and let out a loud wail.

6:35 am.....
"Lyra, Lyra, wake up it's just a dream" Marcus her brother said as he tapped her body continuously.
By now, her pajamas and even bedsheets were already soaked in sweat and tears as she shook vehemently on the bed.
"Lyra," Marcus whispered slowly and she woke up with a start as she sat up on her bed.
"Ah," she murmured, her breath heavy and uneven as she stared between her two brothers.
Their eldest brother, Alexander, stood quietly by the window, his midnight black hair dropping dangerously across his face, his rose pink lips held tightly together and his face carrying no emotions at all.
He folded his hands across his chest as he stared at both of them.
"Calm down" Marcus murmured comfortingly to Lyra patting her back.
"That dream again?!"
"The wolf one?!"
"That dream again, the wolf one" She replied and he nodded slowly.
"That's alright, it's just a dream" he whispered as he slowly turned to look at Xander who intentionally didn't meet his gaze.
He was staring intensely at Lyra and she could feel his gaze on her because it was so piercing.
She slowly placed her right hand on her chest as she finally looked up at him, her gaze cowered away in fear as she turned to face the other way.
"Hmm" Xander finally exhaled.
"You guys, pack up your things we're moving!"
"What?!"
"We're moving?!" Lyra and Marcus asked simultaneously looking up at him.
"Yes," he replied as he stood up straight and dropped his hands to his side.
"For how long are we going to keep moving around because of my nightmares!" Lyra lamented as she turned back to look at Marcus and held his gaze.
"Not anymore, this time around we're going back to our home town, this place doesn't suit us" he replied.
"Our hometown?!" Marcus asked in surprise as he looked up at Xander utterly surprised, he had never mentioned anything as such to him.
"I'm not moving," Lyra said stubbornly and they both tore their gazes off each other and turned to look at her.
"Pardon?!" Xander said, his voice low and calm, but Lyra and Marcus knew exactly what that tone meant.
"I'm no longer a child, you can't just always ask me to pack my things up and leave a certain location when I already built a life there!" She protested.
"The life you have here is an illusion!" Xander replied.
"What do you mean by illusion?!"
"I have a life here and no matter what you call it I'm not ready to leave and you won't make me!"
"I'm Twenty for crying out loud, why do you still try to control my life!"
"You're not even my parent!" She slammed.
"Hey, Lyra! That's enough!" Marcus cautioned immediately.
"Whatever he does is for your benefit, so don't be rude!"
"Look here Young lady," Xander thundered and she turned to look at him.
"We leave in two days and that's my final decision"
"You had better talk to your sister in the ear she hears with, we don't need her stubborn attitude at this point!" He said and stormed off.
"I'll go talk to him," Marcus said as he stood up from Lyra's bedside where he squatted and marched out after Xander.
"God, I'm late for work!" Lyra murmured as she pushed her duvet away from her body and stood up from the bed.
Of her two siblings, she still preferred Marcus, he was three years younger than Xander and the most accessible, friendly, and lenient with her.
Xander on the other hand was more reserved, calculated, and less emotional, not that he didn't love his sister, he loved her dearly, as a matter of fact they loved each other dearly but they just disagree on a lot of things, majorly due to Lyra's highly opinionated character.
She quickly picked up her towel, walked into the bathroom, and slammed the door shut.
"For how long are we going to keep her identity from her !" Xander ranted, with Marcus following closely behind him as they walked into his room and slammed the door shut.
"What do you mean?!, she was born a human!"
"You were so paranoid when she turned eighteen and now she's twenty and hasn't wolfed out, what identity other than human is she supposed to have!"
"She's living peacefully without having to fight any war, Xander please let's not take that away from her!" Marcus pleaded, his voice reducing to a whisper.
"You call those intense nightmares peaceful?!, "
"They're just nightmares, she'll be fine!"
"For how long?!, The more we keep running away from what we have to do the more persistent the nightmare becomes! You know that right?!"
"You're doing it again Xander, worrying over things that are not worth it"
"You can't talk me out of this one Marcus," he said and immediately his phone began to ring, interrupting both of them from their discussion or argument.
Immediately he saw the caller, he raised his head and gave Marcus a short stare and Marcus looked into the phone also.
"Alpha Starlight pack!" He whispered and snapped his head back to Xander.
"Hello" Xander answered, placing the phone in his ear. He reached for the doorknob, gently pulled it open, and walked out of the room.
His voice reduced to hushed tones as he progressed with the call, Marcus followed behind him immediately, slightly annoyed that he had been communicating with the Alpha of the starlight pack behind his back.
"We need to leave urgently!" Xander said as he turned to face Marcus immediately he ended the call.
"You've been talking to Alpha Jethro without letting me know about it?!"
"Sir Jethro is no longer Alpha, his son Killian now is and we need to leave immediately!" He replied.
"No way we're going back to that community of people that made our parents die like Omega wolves without any remuneration!"
"They even let us leave the pack and now they're calling for us?! For what exactly!" He snapped.
"Marcus!," Xander breathed out as he placed his hands on his shoulder.
"The earlier you do away with this mentality, the better for you!"
"You shouldn't be thinking like this,"
"So that you don't end up passing these baseless thoughts to Layra!"
"Starlight pack is our home and right now they need us, I can't go into full details but we're going back there! And when we get there you'll understand!"
"So now being angry at the people who caused my parent's death is now baseless ?!"
"I'm being rational here, Marcus stop making it so difficult for me!" He replied immediately.
"You know quite alright that Lyra is meant to protect our people right?! That explains the dreams, I know you know that!"
"So why then are you trying to cheat the course of nature?!"
"I'm not trying to ...."
"Marcus, are you for me or against me?!" Xander asked, cutting his statement short midway.
"You keep indulging her, that's why she's the way she is, we have to be united in matters concerning our sister, I can't be saying something and you are saying another thing!" He said his eyes slightly squinted as he talked with all seriousness.
"You should know by now that I won't do anything to hurt you guys!" He said and Marcus nodded slowly with a deep sigh.
"Okay!" He simply said.
"But how do we explain all these to Lyra?!"
"She'll understand eventually, that's her reality!" He replied and Marcus nodded slowly.
"Good!, And you should know Starlight pack had nothing to do with Mother and father's death, Mother and Father did what they had to do to save the people "
"They sacrificed their lives and it'll be a useless effort if we don't complete what they've started, we've played around for too long"
"We've played around for too long!" Marcus repeated with a firm resolve.
"Go talk to your sister and get her ready, we leave ...."
"Hi brothers," Lyra said now in a better mood as she walked out to the living room.
She was dressed in an orange tightly fitted gown, which stopped at her knee and hung tightly to her body, revealing her perfect curves.
A warm genuine smile spread across her face as she looked between her brothers, she had sparkling eyes that reflected her intelligence, kindness, and most importantly, strong will.
Her skin was smooth and radiant and her dirty blonde hair which looked perfectly luscious and healthy cascaded down her shoulders.
"I'll be leaving for work now," she said as she walked towards the entrance, "I'm late!" She whispered as she grabbed the door knob.
"You better be going there to tender your resignation letter today!" Xander simply replied.
"I'll love to see you make me!" She replied as she twisted the knob, walked out, and slammed the door shut.
"I'll talk to her!" Marcus said immediately Xander exchanged glances with him.
Meanwhile, Somewhere in FloridaStarlight Pack"I hate it when you're like this!!" Alpha Jethro yelled at his son - Killian.Jethro's face was red with fury as he watched his son stumble over his words, and whine about their present circumstances."What kind of statement was that?!" he bellowed. "You're supposed to be the alpha now, but you're acting like a weakling! How do you expect anyone to follow you if you can't even stand up for yourself?!"Killian stood with his hands tightly clutched beside him as he stared at his angry father. His face was held in a small scowl, even with that scowl he looked perfectly handsome. His symmetrical face looked like it had been sculpted by a master artist, each feature perfectly crafted to create an otherworldly beauty. He had this piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore an hole in the soul of whoever stared for too long, his perfectly chiseled jawline clenched and unclenched as he listened to his father speak.Killian recoiled under his father's
Starlight PackA few moments Earlier ....At the Pack House."Your Mom, I don't know she ...." Jethro stopped talking halfway as he lost his mind link with Killian. He slowly held onto his chest as he staggered backwards trying to keep his stand.Suddenly he heard a small consistent clap and he slowly looked up to see who it was.It was Eliza, she stood a little bit away from him, smiling sinisterly. Her eyes betrayed her true intentions."What's wrong, Eliza?" Jethro asked, his voice barely a whisper."You should know," Eliza replied, her voice laced with venom."I sold you out!" She added in a scornful whisper and began laughing, her laughter sly and loud as it echoed throughout the room."It was all part of the plan!""Well it's good to see you and the Luna, loose your abilities before dying" she added the corner of her lips curled into a smirk.Jethro's eyes widened in shock and horror. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Eliza had been one of the Luna's most trusted members.
"I Killian Winterfur, the son of Alpha Jethro, hereby reje ..." Killian began and Lyra's furrowed brow grew deeper in confusion.*"Remember, one filthy human doesn't qualify the rest of other humans!"* His father's voice resounded in his head, but the urge to deny this human mate was stronger than any other thing. He slowly dropped his hands as he looked directly into her eyes."Who are you?!" he finally asked."No, I should ask you who are you instead!" "I was just here, enjoying my peace and quiet and then you come over sniffing and calling me mate!""How stupid is that?!" She asked totally brazen."Don't call me stupid" he whispered stepping closer to her."And if I do?!" She asked in a whisper moving even closer to him."I think the Moon Goddess knows exactly what she's doing!" Killian murmured as he stepped away from her."Do you not have any idea who I am ?!" He thundered, and as soon as he did that the trees shook and his eyes glowed golden yellow. Lyra's eyes widened as she
Meanwhile...Blue Crescent Pack ...."Sebastian was here yesterday, the Beta of starlight Pack!" Eli, intending Alpha of Blue crescent pack said to his father- Thomas, The ruling Alpha."That Arrogant piece of shit!, He still couldn't come here himself, he sent someone!" He seethed and Eli nodded in agreement , ofcourse he had to, if he wanted to be crowned Alpha on the next full moon night instead of his twin brother - Ethan, he should be ready to do anything to please his father to make him seem more eligible for the title.Eli shifted nervously, feeling the tension in the room escalate. "Who attended to him?!" Alpha Thomas asked."Ethan and I" he replied "Get me Ethan, what's his take on this ?!" He added."Actually, Ethan didn't really ...""Go get me Ethan!" His father interrupted strictly and he took a small bow before finally stepping out to get Ethan."Good Afternoon Father," Ethan said with a small bow as he stepped in with Eli and they both took their seat in front of Alph
"Lyra, Lyra!" Lyra heard someone yell her name. Her strides increased as she just ran wherever her legs took her."Lyra hold on, that area is not safe at night!" She heard the person scream and she slowly came to an halt and bent placing her hands on her knees to support her body as she tried to regularize her heavy breathing. She looked up and realized it wasn't any of her brothers, it was her very annoying neighbor- Maximilian who had always wanted to talk to her."Lyra, you need to calm down" he whispered as he also moved forward to her slowly."Don't come any closer!" She yelled stretching her hands out to him as she moved backwards."Relax!" He whispered soothingly still moving close to her,"Stop!" She screamed in fear as she moved backwards too, since she was born she had never been this scared of someone.Maximilian could see the fear in Lyra's eyes and he immediately stopped moving closer to her."Lyra, please, you need to listen to me," he said, holding up his hands in surre
Lyra stumbled backwards as she felt a sharp pain on her cheek from Xander's hit. She looked up at him in shock and anger, tears welling up in her eyes."How dare you!" she shouted, her voice shaking. "You have no right to hit me!""That's alright, don't yell at him" Marcus said holding Lyra back."You didn't say anything when he hit me !" She yelled tears now streaking down her face.Xander stood frozen, his hand still raised from the force of the slap. He looked down at Lyra, his eyes dark with anger and a tiny hint of regret."I'm sure he didn't mean to hit you. Your words, they hurt sometimes Lyra" Marcus consoled his voice low and gravelly.Lyra shook her head, the tears now streaming down her face. "I don't care," she said fiercely. "He has no right to hit me, no matter what I say. I trusted you guys. I trusted both of you. And you lied to me, both of you.""All my life! Now how about that for being hurt!" "You shouldn't have hit her, you should have just understood that she's
"Mate mate, I want to see our mate again!" Gerald, Killian's inner wolf groaned in distress. "I don't think you're alright!" Killian replied almost angry. "Of all the things going on now, the only thing you have to think about is our mate?!" Killian scoffed. "Tell me you don't miss her!" "I have a lot of better things to think about, other than missing someone!" "This pack is our responsibility and we have to protect it no matter what!" "And right now! The pack needs us one hundred percent!" "And we need our mate too!" Gerald replied. "Stop stressing me!" Killian slammed. Gerald huffed, but remained silent as Killian continued to pace back and forth in their shared mind. The weight of their responsibilities as Alpha of their pack was heavy on Killian's shoulders, and the last thing he needed was his inner wolf distracting him with thoughts of their mate. But the truth was, Gerald had a point. They did miss her. And with everything going on in the pack - rogue wolves causing
Evening ....8:00pm ....."You should eat this before Xander comes home" Marcus said as he walked into the room with a tray of food.It was a full course meal, and Lyra's eyes widened in excitement as she began to salivate even when he hadn't gotten to her."Thank you so much!" She whispered as she sat up straight on her bed and took the food from him.Normally she would have proven stubborn and not accept the food to drive home her point, but now she couldn't she was mad hungry!.Lyra savored the flavors of the food, and she looked up at Marcus."It's delicious!" She whispered and he nodded slowly."I knew you would like it!" He whispered."So how are you doing?! How was your day?!" Marcus asked as he straightened her hair with his palm while she ate."Normal, well not to boring thanks to Max!" She replied and he nodded slowly with a small smile."Max!" He repeated in a murmur still nodding his head slowly."Has he by any chance ever called you mate before?!" Marcus asked and she sto
