Theodore POV
As the Alpha King who leads the werewolf clan, the past few months I've been preoccupied with the problems that have been plaguing me lately.
This time I came to the Crimson Star pack for a job and my plan worked because the suspected traitor in my pack finally appeared.
Because of that, I intended to buy some time and finish off the bastard in the forest in Crimson Star pack territory.
But, unexpectedly when I had successfully finished off the bastard, I felt the presence of a stranger there.
"I didn't expect someone to come this early in the forest like this," I muttered, a little curious about the stranger.
As the stranger got closer, I sensed something unusual about that person, although I didn't know how to explain it myself.
I felt him watching me, then he made the mistake I had been waiting for.
When he made a sound that was audible to me, I quickly went to that person.
Originally, I didn't intend to scare her, but I also needed to prevent her from saying anything to outsiders.
I could see that this woman seemed to have cried her heart out because her eyes looked red and swollen. That's why I intended to tease her a little after learning her name.
And damn it I was even quite amused by the reaction she gave when I picked up the leaf that had fallen on top of Roxanne's head.
When Roxanne heard me chuckle, her face turned red with embarrassment and she pushed me away from her.
"Why did you do that and make me misunderstand!" I could see Roxanne trying to hide her blushing face.
"What did I do? I was just picking up this leaf," I said with an innocent face.
Roxanne stomped her foot in annoyance, then glanced at me angrily.
"Since you already know my name, I'm sure you can trust that I won't say anything." Roxanne looked at me seriously this time.
"Alright, I'll try to believe you. You also have to remember that I know your name, if I hear news about me here spread, then the first person I look for is you." I also warned Roxanne about the consequences of meeting me here at this time.
Roxanne seemed to know what I meant and she looked up at the sky, then seemed to realise that she had to leave immediately.
"Then I should go, you should also leave here immediately, as far as I know the warriors of the Crimson Star pack will soon be patrolling around this place," she said as she warned me.
I felt Roxanne smile faintly at me, then ran away in the opposite direction from where I came. For some reason I didn't feel like parting with Roxanne whom I had just met.
"It's strange, I never thought I'd feel this way," I said with a frown, not too happy with what I was feeling at the moment.
"My business here is done, anyway Roxanne is Alpha Willete's daughter so I'm sure she can be trusted." Just like what Roxanne said, I immediately left the forest.

Roxanne POV
Before Vivian realised that she wasn't in the basement, she had to hurry back before Vivian came because the mysterious man made her lose track of time.
It's just that when I stepped into the basement I immediately realised that I was already late because at this moment I could hear Vivian roaring in anger.
"Damn, why is she already here?!" I muttered fearfully, if he came out now and approached Vivian, it was certain that he would be beaten up.
But, if she doesn't come out right now, then Vivian's anger will only get worse later. So from the start, I couldn't escape this bad situation.
I resignedly stepped out of my hiding place and approached Vivian who was already in my room.
The moment Vivian saw me, I could feel her anger rising, she walked quickly towards me and slapped me hard.
"Where the hell have you been bitch! How dare you run away from here when I told you not to come out," Vivian shouted impatiently.
Not stopping there, Vivian pushed my body until it hit the wall of my room and made me fall on the cold hard floor.
I could only moan softly and didn't dare lift my head to look at Vivian. That's when I felt one of Vivian's feet step on the side of my face.
"Be grateful that Alpha King is coming to the pack, so I have to let you go since you have to work!" It sounded like Vivian was very unwilling to let me go just like that.
Putting aside the violence Vivian had inflicted on me, my mind was more focused on the Alpha King's sudden visit to our pack, it seemed I would have to work harder than usual if this was the case.
After that, Vivian landed one last kick to my stomach before finally leaving my room.
With difficulty I got up from the floor and leaned my body against the wall, I could feel the corner of my lips torn from Vivian slapping me so hard earlier, my stomach was also very sore now.
However, I can't stay here, I have to start working because the pack will definitely be very busy welcoming the Alpha King who will come to visit.
I hobbled out of the basement and started helping the omegas who were already busy with a lot of business.
. . .
Right now I have to start cleaning the many rooms in the special district that are usually used by guests who come to the pack, there are about 50 rooms in this area and I have to clean them all by myself.
I don't know how many times I went back and forth to get water to wipe down all those houses. "Not even a single omega came to help," I muttered wearily.
This time I had just picked up a bucket of water and was going back to the guest house district and I passed through the pack house to do so because the water source I was aiming for was in the pack house.
I saw that the group from Alpha King had arrived at the pack, I saw that there were many people gathered in front of the pack house.
There I also saw my father welcoming a tall, black-haired man wearing a black robe that for some reason I felt very familiar with when I saw him.
I don't know how we ended up staring at each other and I was instantly shocked when I realised who the black-haired man was who was talking to Father.
The bucket of water I had been carrying unconsciously slipped from my grasp as I pointed at the man with a stifled voice.
How could that mysterious man that I met in the forest be here and dare to talk to Father!
Roxanne’s POVI woke up in the middle of the forest, and at that moment, I realized this was my dream. Since I had grown used to strange nightmares, I was no longer surprised when I woke up in unusual places like this. The sound of footsteps echoed in the distance. I turned around, but all I could see was mist, so I slowly walked closer to it.“Where exactly is this?” I whispered softly, seeing nothing of significance here.Suddenly, a gust of wind slapped against my face, forcing me to stumble three steps back.Moments later, shadows of people appeared, chasing one another. Their figures ran right through my body as if I were nothing more than a transparent ghost. My eyes widened in shock when I recog
Roxanne’s POVBecause of Alpha Theodore’s previous order, I had to stay in the pack house for the next week. At first, Alpha Theodore didn’t allow me to leave my room and told me to rest inside.Since I grew too bored being confined there, I often sneaked out. Eventually, Alpha relented and permitted me to spend some time outside of my room.“Xena, why have I been having nightmares more often lately? Do you know anything?” I asked as I lounged on the sofa near the window, gazing out at the flower garden.‘Don’t you usually have nightmares anyway?’ Xena furrowed her brows, confused.“Yes, I do. But this time… it feels different.”My eyes drifted to the bri
Roxanne POVAt first, everything went smoothly, until suddenly a vision pierced into my head. It felt as if I was being pulled into the future.Destruction, that was all I saw. As far as my eyes could reach, there was nothing but blazing fire, devouring everything in its path.Piercing cries echoed, the faint howls of wolves mixing with the roar of the flames that swallowed everything before them. My breath hitched at the sight. The vision only lasted for a few seconds, but my body swayed weakly as I realized what I had just seen.“Roxanne? What’s happening to you?”I heard Theodore’s deep voice at my side, and only then did I realize that my body was already being held up by Alpha Theodore.
Roxanne’s POVHonestly, I was pretty nervous about attending tonight’s event, especially since it was explicitly held to welcome me into this pack. Additionally, I had no idea what would actually happen there.Even though I knew Theodore needed my blood so I could officially join, I had never done anything like this before, and that made me anxious.I twisted the hem of the dress I was wearing, hoping it would ease the nerves fluttering inside me.At last, I heard the sound of a car pulling up outside, and my heart began to pound harder with each beat. Xena, who clearly sensed my nervousness, spoke softly to calm me.‘Roxanne, relax. I’m here with you, so you don’t need to worry.’ Xena whispered gently, soothing my restless heart.“Huff… Please, let me get through tonight.” I closed my eyes, praying silently to the Moon Goddess that nothing bad would happen this evening. Then came the sound of knocking at my door. Slowly, I opened my eyes, exhaled a shaky breath, and rose to my feet.
Roxanne’s POVWhen I went jogging this morning and the sunlight began to shine brightly, I realized that the Gold Dream Pack was truly located right in the middle of the human city. The pack looked so vast, with rows of houses stretching along every block. The cool morning breeze calmed me, easing the weight of the nightmare that had kept me awake last night. Even so, I couldn’t just forget that dream.“I hope it was just a dream,” I murmured, trying to be optimistic, then continued my steps, eager to explore this pack.Along one of the streets, I noticed a café displaying a sign that they were hiring. I realized that I couldn’t rely on Theodore forever. Like it or not, I had to start rebuilding my life.I glanced at the café’s name, trying to memorize it. It looked stylish, a place perfect for young people to gather. Since it was only six in the morning, they weren’t open yet.“Maybe I should come back here later this afternoon. Hopefully, they’ll accept me.” Currently, my top priori
Roxanne POVIt took us about six hours to finally reach Theodore’s pack. I had fallen asleep since it was already late, but then I felt someone touching me, and it instantly jolted me awake. My breath came in short gasps, and I quickly pulled myself back, feeling deeply uncomfortable at the sensation of someone’s hand on me.But when I looked up, I realized it was Theodore. He had only meant to wake me because we had arrived.“Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you. We’re here,” Theodore said as he pulled his hand away from me.I immediately turned toward the car window, and sure enough, we were already in front of a grand house that looked like a luxurious mansion. Because it was night, what caught my attention most was the warm glow of lights around the place.Still half-dazed from waking, I didn’t pay much attention to the details surrounding the mansion. What I did notice was the sound of the cold night wind whistling fiercely through the air.Somehow, I suddenly felt awkward around
