Chapter 138: Bickering

Amarantha's POV

I smiled at the boy who asked that question and patted his shoulder. "Good question, dear!" I told him delightfully. "Because I don't want to change everything in me. I accept who and what I am as I am made to be who I am.

"If I try to change myself, then I would have no face to show in front of my original race. I wouldn't have convinced them into this peace. Most importantly, the new rules would be irrelevant to those people who wanted peace. Because if I become the face of someone who isn't proud of who I am, then what will become of others? They wouldn't be happy to see me not so proud of how I was brought into this world."

The people sympathized with my words and understood me.

For me, it wasn't just because of the humans that I stayed human. For me, I chose to stay who I am because I am happy with who I am.

God made me a human for a purpose. He wanted me to reach this far for me to know what I should do. And this was it.
