SAMANTHA'S POV
I had to get out of there as soon as possible
So once I was safely outside, I walked briskly into the elevator and ran ever faster to my car.
The drive back to the house was a blur. I had no way of articulating what had just happened at the office. I sped back through every street light breaking every traffic law that I could. It was only when I was leaning back on my door safely in the confines of my apartment that I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
Gripping my neck as if to cover up the shame of his bites and kisses on my neck, I slid down to my haunches and cried into my arms. I cried for all the lost years, for him not recognizing and remembering me.
"Was I that forgettable? Was I some random one-night stand he could chuck away or have his w
MAEVE'S POVI watched as the little boy ran into Samantha's arms. I couldn't believe my eyes. She had a child. It was self-evident that the child was Manuel's. He had the same dark blue eyes that Manuel had. My heart broke at the realization.I shrieked in horror."You had a child?!"She covered his ears with her hands, dropping him back on his feet, she ruffled his hair."Baby, why don't you go on up to your room, I'll be there to tuck you in, okay? This nice lady and I are just having a little chat" she cooed.I watched as the child looked from her to me skeptically."Hey, lady, don't yell at my mum," he said before running back into his room. The smile on Samant

SAMANTHA'S POV I was still reeling from the shock of Manuel's discovery. I had never planned to hide the truth from him but it was something I had to do. His memories was back now so it seemed. And it was only a matter of time before he would find out about the kids. I had to do something but the only thing that came to mind was telling him.I didn't want his life to be disrupted and I didn't want my kids to feel rejected. I thought as I paced the full length of my office twiddling with my fingers. I tried to come up with a solution but none came to mind. The rest of the day, I couldn't concentrate either.Standing outside the office at the end of the day,I frowned as I massaged the kinks from my neck from overworking myself just to get the worry off my mind. I called Martha earlier in the day to inform her that I would be late tonight. I wanted her to tuck in the kids for me.As I stood on the sidewalk, waiting for a cab. A black SUV zoomed past. With heightened eyesight, I read
