We got into the town first, where we were sure that we won’t get easily attacked. No sane werewolf would attack another werewolf right in front of the humans.

Thank goodness that Owen had some stash of money in his pockets as he managed to get a room for both of us. He let me take the bed and he took the sofa.

“Honestly, thinking about it now, this day was hectic. I’ll definitely remember this,” He brought up, removing the tension filling the air.

I chuckled, nodding along to what he said, “Yeah, me too. This was really crazy for me.” Things have been too dramatic for me these days. I’m surprised I even managed to stay alive.
