I had just taken my bath and was getting out of the shower, on getting into my room, I saw Davina standing there and staring at a picture of me, Lexi, Alex, and my stepmother.

“What are you doing with that?”

I asked very softly. She turned around and immediately turned toward the portrait.

“Uhm, I caught my eyes and I couldn’t help but take a look at it.” She said, I nodded and walked towards my wardrobe and brought out black sweatpants, I wore it and then wore a black shirt. I applied lotion on my body while I watched her sit on my bed, she seemed very nervous, she picked up her phone and then smiled.

“I don’t wanna stay with you in this room.” She said, I took a sit on the couch and crossed my legs as I stared at her. She was dressed in a pajama and looked like a baby.

“My father is arriving in Nigeria by midnight,” I said, she seemed excited immediately after I had given her the information.
