Chapter Twenty Six

She stopped and crashed on the floor, laying upwards and breathing heavily. She rubbed her throat like she almost sprained it, she spread her arms aside like someone trying to make a snow angel but in this case she’s exhausted. Tears prickled down the side of her eyes, she kept wondering what exactly was happening to her, if indeed she was having superpowers.

She stared at the sky, the sun is going back in and the moon is setting. It’s getting dark gradually but she wasn’t bothered, for what it’s worth she actually wanted to stay there. Anything that’ll keep her from going back to the house, the atmosphere at home was now thick and toxic that it chokes each time she walks in and there is this sudden sense of heaviness in her spirit.

“What does it feel like to be dead? Does it feel like nothing, do you see nothing but darkness” she continued talking herself
