Chapter 35: Arrogant

I turned to Mara, looking anxious and in panic. “Who do you see at the dinning?”

Mara was stunned looking at my expression, but she nevertheless replied to me. “It's Alpha Damon.”

“Really?” My voice seems like one, that was expecting to hear no.

It was obvious now that I wasn't the only one seeing him. Meaning, he truly was at the dinning.

My heart sank even further, like a pit that has no destination.

“Why are you looking pale?” Mara asked, bringing me back to reality.

With my face directed at her, I could clearly see her worried looking face. Well, it wasn't her fault that she was feeling this worried, afterall my expression also wasn't in any way fine.

“I'm fine, Mara. Just ignore my facial expression, I'm really fine.” I tried, assuring her.
