Kendrick was restless. This time he didn't seem to want to be distracted. He laid stiffly in his bed even though it was still day and there was a lot he could be doing.

Rod’s voice came deep and steady.

“You are restless again.”

“Yes,” Kendrick answered softly. “I can’t help it. I feel like I must go to the Crystal pack. I need to see Rina myself.”

Rod sighed inside him. “You cannot just rush there. It is not the time yet.”

“I don’t want to wait,” Kendrick pushed. “I cannot breathe knowing she is far away. I need to see her with my own eyes.”

“Jack just gave you his word,” Rod said firmly. “He said she is safe. You must trust that.”

Kendrick shook his head. “Safe is not enough for me. I don’t only want her safe. I want her near.”

Rod growled low. “You are thinking with your heart, not with your mind. If you go now, you will draw attention. Glint is watching you. If he finds out you are tied to Rina, he will use it ag

The woods were quiet except for the sound of Rina’s quick steps. Her eyes scanned the ground, her hands brushing away low branches. She saw marks on the soil, small prints, broken leaves. Her heart leapt. “A trail,” she whispered to herself. She bent lower and followed it.The trail curved around trees, down a slope, across a patch of grass. Each step made her believe more that she was close. But as she went deeper, the signs grew weaker. The prints faded. The leaves seemed older, scattered by the wind. Her chest tightened. “No, no,” she murmured. She pressed forward, her eyes straining. Soon there was nothing clear to follow. Only forest floor. She stopped at last, her breath heavy, her legs weak. She leaned against a tree, fighting despair. Then she heard movement. Her eyes snapped up. A tall figure came through the trees. It was Darius.“Rina,” he called softly. She straightened at once. “Darius? What are you

The morning light fell across the yard as the pack scattered into different directions. Men were already in the woods, guards were checking the borders, and yet Mira was still gone.Elara’s eyes were red from crying. She stood near the gates, her hands gripping her cloak tight. Rina held her arm, trying to steady her.“I cannot sit here anymore,” Elara whispered. “I feel useless. I feel like I am waiting for her to never return.”Rina nodded slowly. “I feel the same. If we wait, I will go mad. We will go out ourselves.”Elara turned to her sharply. “You mean outside the walls?”“Yes,” Rina answered. “We will search with our own eyes. Maybe she was dropped somewhere. Maybe she is crying even now and no one has heard her. We must try.”Neri hurried over, her face pale but determined. “If you go out, then I will stay here. I will keep looking inside the pack. Someone must search the slave quarters. I know some of them. They will spe

  • Alpha's Cursed Breeder    Who is The Hero?

The sound of voices filled the night as the search for Mira continued. Guards ran through the halls, doors were opened, and every corner of the pack house was checked. But the child was nowhere.By midnight, word had spread through the entire pack. Soon, Rowland stormed into the courtyard, his face hard, his robe loose from sleep but his eyes sharp.“What is going on?” he barked. “Why is the entire pack awake?”A guard bowed. “The child is missing, my lord.”Rowland’s eyes narrowed. “The child? Mira? The one Rina has been caring for?”“Yes,” the guard answered. “She was taken from her bed.”Rowland raised his hand. “Then listen to me. Close every gate at once. No one leaves, no one enters until the child is found.”His words spread quickly. Men around him nodded and began to move.Rina appeared, holding her cloak tight around her shoulders, her face pale with fear. “What are you doing?”Rowland looked a

The night was quiet in Kendrick’s chamber. The fire burned low. Rina lay in his arms, her hair spread on his chest, their bodies still warm from lovemaking. She broke the silence. “Kendrick, I need to tell you something.”He stroked her back gently. “What is it, my mate?”Her voice trembled though she tried to steady it. “It is about Rowland. He is working against you. He wants to make the pack members turn against you so he can take over the pack alone.”Kendrick let out a slow breath. “I know my brother. He may be evil, he may be unreasonable, but still I must respect our father’s wish. Father wanted us to rule the pack together. I cannot throw that away.”Rina lifted herself and looked into his eyes. A small laugh escaped her lips, though it was sharp. “You are living in denial, Kendrick. Even Rowland himself has said many times he will never rule beside you. He made it clear. He does not want to share the throne. He wants it all.”

  • Alpha's Cursed Breeder    Glint's War With Conscience

The night was quiet, yet Alpha Glint could not rest. He walked across his chamber, his steps heavy. The fire in the hearth burned low, but his mind was hotter than flames. He muttered to himself, “Why would my daughter be glad to think of destroying a brother? Why would she speak with such fire about taking one side and spilling blood?”He stopped and looked out the window at the dark fields.“Kendrick,” he whispered. “I know that boy. I know him well. He is kind. He is honest. He stayed under my roof for long moons. I trusted him. He is not like the others.”Glint rubbed his chin. “But politics of the packs is never done with soft hands. It is not about kindness. It is about strength, about power, about who can stand tallest when the storm comes.”He sighed and shook his head. “If I agree with Leah, I will be joining Rowland to crush Kendrick. Can I do that? Can I betray the one who lived with me as a son?”He kept pacing, his h

  • Alpha's Cursed Breeder    Leah’s Return

Leah sat upright in her carriage, Lora rode beside her, glancing out nervously.“Are you afraid, my lady?” Lora whispered.Leah pressed her lips together. “Half afraid,” she admitted. “But half determined too. I must prove to myself that I am not weak. Maggie only spoke to scare me. She wanted me to tremble.”Lora sighed in relief. “So you truly think it was only threats?”“Yes,” Leah said firmly. “Look around, Lora. Nothing has happened. We are safe. Maggie wanted me restless, but I will not give her that pleasure.”Lora nodded quickly. “Then I am glad. I was worried all night.”“You worry too much,” Leah said with a small smile. “We will reach my father’s lands soon.”By midday, the woods cleared, and the banners of the Sauna pack came into view. Leah straightened with pride as soldiers recognized her. Horns blew, and dancers stepped into the path, spinning and clapping to welcome her home.“See, Lora?” Leah
