"The chosen Luna has mounted the stage. We seek for the Lycan King. Come out now, let the marking ceremony begin." The elders of Zion pack had mounted the stage, but the orator was the one talking.

I felt a little anxious, I've heard a rumor from an Omega saying the Lycan King went missing.

His beta, Hamel entered alone with a paper in his hand.

"Hamel, where is your master?" The orator asked impatiently.

Everywhere went silent, as though the world was cast into the bottom of an ocean.

Hamel walked up to the orator, and handed the paper to him.

"This is a blood letter from the Lycan King." Hamel said and backed off.

The orator peered at the letter and handed it over to the elders, whose faces showed their dismay as they read the letter one after the other.

"What's written on that paper?" I asked myself, curiosity and fear were already laced on my face.

"Hmmm." The orator came forward with the letter. "Zion pack, the Lycan King had been declared missing!"

..."But he left a letter for his supposed chosen mate, Laura!" The orator shot me a sad glance and continued. "Here is the Lycan King's blood letter." He said and raised it up for the whole pack to see.

"With this blood letter, his Majesty, the Lycan King of Zion pack, hereby, unapologetically rejects Laura Faris as his mate and chosen Luna!" The orator yelled out, still holding the letter.

I felt downcast and dropped on the ground in tears and sorrow. What have I done to deserve this wicked act from the man I love so much?

I sniffed back the mucus running non-stop from my nostril, wiped my tears and got to my feet.

"This would be my last tears for a man!"
