*Maddy’s Pov*

Jake just dropped me at home, and I’m walking into the kitchen in search of some delicious food. Since I had to work things out with Jake, I didn’t have dinner. I’m so hungry, I can eat a cow."

Seeing a note on the fridge from dad, reading it.. Big guy left me a plate of my favorite home cooked meal.. Lasagna. Mmm." Smells so good. I’ve been craving a Caesar salad all day to as well, so I throw one together real fast.

Now my dinner is complete.

I set my plate on the kitchen table. I was about to sit down when I realize I forgot to pour myself a cold glass of peach green tea."

After getting my tea and sitting down, I hear someone coming down the stairs.. “Hey pumpkin, how was your day? Aside from knocking Dark Sky’s next Alpha on his ass.” I laugh.

You heard about that, huh? Dad grins.

Maddy, I’m sure the whole pack knows about it by now.

“Haha, well, just my luck.” I don’t need anymore attention drawn to myself. I get enough of that unwanted attention
