Listening to this most awaited good wishes, Lily doesn’t whole day soaring high in the sky. After her husband’s death, Eric was her only life source, an apple of her eyes.

Her son’s repeated failed relationships were her constant worry, rendering her sleepless nights.

Now, this celebration in Pack was the end of the era of grim and shadows. Her wolf (Veronica) was on cloud nine, her dream of becoming a grandmother was a matter of days.

Later at night, she was about to sleep when she suddenly felt an unease in her heart.

“My pup!”

Veronica howled, urging Lily to go check on him.

“It’s so ill-mannered of you to check on your mated son at this time. Don’t angry me.”

Her scolding didn’t affect her agitated wolf, she growled back at her.

“My pup is worried. Move!”
