Before she could react and do something... anything, her vision is shrouded in black and then she is back in that inky black forest. The only difference — the shadow man no longer lurked in the shadows. Elias stood in front of her. Her guess was correct.
"What happened after that? Tell me," she demanded. Her heart was still beating fast. The image of the child falling sends cold shivers down her spine. Was he saved?
