KALILA POV

After thirty minutes, I emerged from the bathroom, having spent twenty of them doing my makeup. I wore a black dress with red road designs that dropped just below my knees. Dolph, a young man who couldn't have been older than twenty-three, stood outside the mansion by a blue Cadillac, smoking a cigarette and staring ahead. When he noticed me, he quickly dropped the cigarette, crushing it beneath his feet.

"Good morning Luna Dahlia; I'll be taking you wherever you wish to go," he said, eyeing the car. "Alpha Ares took the limousine, the black Rolls Royce has a flat tire and needs servicing, so I had to settle for the Cadillac."

I didn't care which car Ares assigned me as long as I didn't have to walk. "That's not a problem. The pack office is where I'm headed."
