Hundred-Six

ARES’S POV

The sound of the glass on the wall was like a shrill cry of a baby. It came crashing down to the floor in splinters and I just stared at it with bloodshot eyes.

“Fuck!” I exclaimed aloud and bit my lower lip hard until I felt a rush of blood.

This couldn’t be happening, this couldn’t be fucking happening. How could this be? How could this be real? It was absurd, it surely couldn’t be possible that another person’s spirit would take over someone else’s body. It made absolutely no sense!

I looked at Jeremy who still had the diary in his hands, then Jeremy looked at me. “She didn’t take the diary with her.” He said gloomily.

“She’s Kalila, she’s not Dahlia. She…she confessed it to me and I’m sure as her close friend she must have done same to you. What did she say?” I asked, dropping to one of the couches in the room. “Wait, before you sit, get me a drink.”

Jeremy stood still, not moving and not obeying my orders I squinted at him and cocked my head sideways in confusion
