73~ I Will Find Her

ANNA'S POV

For two days, he effortlessly searched for her and yet, she was nowhere to be found. It gladdened my heart that I could finally breathe fresh air without having to see Olivia, or know that she was somewhere in the pack house sharing the same air I breathed.

These few days, Rick didn't say a word to me. He's been acting like I was a total stranger to him, more like I wasn't even existing in his life. I wouldn't deny the fact that it does hurt me, but what can I do? As long as Olivia is out of our lives, I'm pretty much cool with it.

He just returned from another failed search, and he was heading for his room. "Why can't you give up, you can never find her. She's gone, Rick, for good."

He turned to look at me. "No, she is not gone. She's somewhere within the pack, and I'll surely find her."
