As soon as Alessandro walked past me, I rolled my eyes. I knew he wouldn't dare to go after Elena after she left. He was mine already, and we had a lot going on. If he loses me, then he would lost a lot of things as well.

I had no idea why Elena was here, or who had brought her back, but this wasn't just the damn right time for her to come back. There was still a lot more to do.
