Chapter ten

Last night another fighter of our pack died of his wounds. This means war. I have been up all night trying to figure out how we can fight these wolves. About how I am going to make them suffer.

But also Elsa. She was just 21 years old and already lost her mate. Left to raise their child on her own. Well, she is not exactly alone. She has me and the pack, even though it won't be the same without him. My men are still out there trying to find these wolves. I am worried. Worried for their safety. On the other hand, all my mind can think about is how I want to kill each one of them. I can feel Onyx pressing underneath my skin. He wants to go out for a run. Honestly, it’s not a crazy idea. Get some of this anger out. I walk over to my closet and change in a clean pair of shorts before heading downstairs. I walk by the room next to mine where Elsa is still sleeping. She must be exhausted. Elsa was crying all night until she was too tired and fell asleep.
