His office is spacious than any room I've been since I got here, and the coldness from the full blast  air-conditioner added from the chill I'm feeling.

He put down the pen he's holding as he shifted his position to be able to face us more, his eyes directly looking where I'm standing.

Just him looking at me so intensely sending shiver down to my spine, there's nothing much emotion can be seen in his pair purple eyes. As if his eyes define the coldness of winter—

"Where did you find her?" His voice is deep and rasp, as if it's coming from the underground.

"From bidding, I heard they'll sell someone who still untouched. She's an omega from that place yet she's untouched, I think she's the most suitable one to take care of lady Charlotte." Mr. Rusco carefully explained. "You still looking for someone who can take care of her, and since she's a lady, I can't take her now that she's growing up."

The Alpha's expression soften, but the strictness of his tone remained, "How can you be so sure if she's really untouched?" His eyebrows crease, as if what he heard is just a lie.

"If you want to check it thoroughly, we can do medical check up." Mr. Rusco suggested and bow his head.

Finally, his shoulder finally loosened up. "Then do it, if the medical say what they claim is true then everything is settled. But for now, send her to the west side. I don't want her near to my daughter, you understand what I mean right, Rusco?"

"Yes, Alpha Dexion."

Mr. Rusco side eyes me and gesture to leave first, I hastily bow my head and was about to open the door when open on its own.

"Daddy!" Lady Charlotte shouted as she run toward where is Alpha Dexion, she immediately crawl to his lap and hug him, "you didn't visit me yesterday, but you promise we will have breakfast together today, Didn't you?" She puff her cheeks until it bubble.

Mr. Rusco flustered and was about to take lady Charlotte when Alpha Dexion hand sign him that it's okay.

"Baby," He caress her hair gently, "didn't I already say that you shouldn't run, you might trip and hurt yourself." His cold, deep rough voice suddenly become soothing like he's trying to lullaby her.

"I know, daddy. But it's already time to eat breakfast yet you haven't come out to the dining area, why?" Her voice is too cute, somehow, the atmosphere become bearable since she got here.

She look around and her small, beautiful sparkling eyes widened when she finally see me. Her pinkish little lips parted when she gasped, "the nanny! Hello, good morning!" She gullibly wave her hand to me, "would you also like to eat with us?"

"Charlotte," Alpha Dexion try to take her attention back to her, but Lady Charlotte keep her eyes on me. Staring like waiting for my answer, I want to say no but how could I when her eyes expecting me to yes...

"Lady Charlotte, she can't. This lady still need to do something important—"

"But breakfast is important, right?" She blink her eyes, so innocent.

When Mr. Rusco did not answer, she look at Alpha Dexion. "Am I wrong, daddy? Breakfast is important, right? You always say I shouldn't skip my breakfast, so she should eat with us before doing her important thing." She keep yapping, it's also making me nervous.

Alpha Dexion sighed in defeat, "yes, baby. She should eat breakfast, you are very thoughtful and genius." He caress her cheeks and look at me, I could not help but swallow.

The gentleness in his eyes vanished, it's not my idea yet he look at me like it's me who ask if I can eat with them.

"I-I'm o-okay lady C-Charlotte, I—"

"Eat with us." He cut my words and said it with finality.

I bit my lower lip and nodded, Mr. Rusco tap my arm as if telling me that's everything is still okay.

"Calm down, it's okay." Mr. Rusco whispered, he's reminding me that I need to control my emotion in front of Alpha Dexion.

I lowered my head, when I see Alpha Dexion still staring at me. I wish it will end up soon, being with Alpha in the same room making my stomach hurt.

I couldn't calm down at all, his presence and pheromones making it hard for me to do it.

I grip the lower layer of my clothes tightly and shut my eyes, I can feel the sweat starting to fall from my temple down to my cheeks.

It's the same feeling whenever those Alphas went to our house, the same unbearable feeling that making me dizzy and lightheaded.

"Let's go." I heard Alpha Dexion said, they started to walk toward the door. But my feet remain standing in the same place, I couldn't move and all and my sight starting to blurry.

I hold my chest, it's thumping like crazy. My throat feels to dry, there something so hot inside my body. My breathe starting to become heavy, no— this feeling is different.

It's more intense, I feel like I'm having a fever and my body craving for something I never had before.

"What's going on, is she okay?" I heard Lady Charlotte asking innocently, but I can look at her... Not now, when she's with him.

I feel like I'll do something I shouldn't if my attention focus on him, I need to runaway... Far away from him, from his scent.

My knees start to wobble and lost my balance, my both palm is on the floor to supporting not to fall my face.

I see my reflection, the same reaction I hate to see in my mother's face.

Thirst...

I hate it, I'm not omega who will surrender to my animalistic mind, no... This is not me.

Tears started to fall down, the tightness in my chest keep intensify. As if my heart is getting torn peace by peace...

'we're omega, you can't escape it.'

I heard my mother's voice inside my head, as if until now she's hunting me. Why?

I already escape that place, so why? Why do I still need to feel it—to know this feeling?

Someone cup my jaw and made me look at them, first I'm having hard to see who is it.

But his scent, the unfamiliar yet soothing pheromones starting to penetrate my nostril.

As if he's trying to calm me down using the scent I hate the most, the Alpha's pheromones who also the reason why I'm being like this.

As if he's using it to save me even though it's also the reason why I'm being torn apart and miserable.

"Calm down, no one will hurt you here. Calm down, keep looking at me." He whispered gently.

He hold my trembling hands and caress it, "breathe slowly, that it. You're doing great, slowly." He patiently repeat the words over and over.

I don't need it, keep looking at me coldly... Please, don't be gentle to me.

My eyes starting to get heavy, darkness finally

pull me. The last thing I know is the sound of his heart and the warm of his body when I fell down.
