Chapter 6: crushing hopes

I can't believe I lost control like that.. and I can't even put it on Sins card.. it was all me.

I was heading to talk to my men at the border after the unnerving talk with my Beta when I heard her talk about her being a part of the pack for the first time! Like what the fuck?!?!

And when I pulled her with me I was mad! It's an Alphas duty to take care of our species, even halfbloods.. he left her alone, all this years she was alone.

Now I understand why her wolf is a newborn soul and she has no idea of how it all works. Half bloods are often weaker and a lot died during the shift, that's when newborn souls start to appear and no wolf took care of her , so she ended up knowing nothing!

But my anger faded the moment she started to tremble with fear and cry. After the moment we shared in the office I forgot that I'm still a feared monster, and a complete stranger to her. It's only natural she fears me as soon as she sense my mood.
