Thelia’s saccharine tone grated on Olivia’s nerves. She forced a smile, turning to face the woman who had caused so much turmoil in her past. Thelia stood there, her perfect smile firmly in place, as if they were old friends rather than anything else.

"Thelia," Olivia replied, her voice neutral as she clasped her hands together. She felt her wolf stir uneasily beneath the surface, sensing her discomfort.
