Chapter Thirty Three
Ray's POV:
"I see it all, sweetheart." I called out with my hands shoved inside my pockets and I couldn't peel my gaze away from her. She looked absolutely stunning, standing over there and gracefully carrying herself through the entire party.
I just wanted to blend in the crowd and be happy for her success but when she mentioned me on the stage, I felt like my heart was being ripped apart and I couldn't hold back myself anymore.
"Uhh...Thank you all for coming. Enjoy the party," Some guy spoke in behalf of her and helped her down the stage as she was stunned beyond words when our eyes met and to be honest, she took my breath away with just that one single look.
That one look brought me back to life and I bet she felt the same way too. I've been waiting for her all these years and I couldn't believe that she was finally here. I knew I had a lot of explaining to do but I was not going to give up on us now.<
