Chapter Thirty Two

"Do we have the guest list ready and everything set up in the party hall as we discussed?" I asked my secretary and kept flipping through the pages of the document in front of me. It was still hectic and stressful to multitask a lot of things at once and even after a week I was trying so hard to get used to the whole CEO thing.

I thought it would be fun but it was so much of work and responsibility and everyone back in India were counting on me to bring more business to the company from abroad.

As if there wasn't enough pressure already.

"Yes, Ms. D'Souza. Everything is ready and all you need to do is just show up." He stated giving me a small confident grin. I smiled back at him as he adjusted his tie. He was a average built guy who must be in his late twenties with wavy brown hair and deep blue eyes which reminded me of a certain someone. I shook my head immediately and turned back to my documents at hand.
