Chapter Twenty Three

"Come on, girl. Today is our last exam. You are definitely coming out with us for drinks or I'm coming over there to drag you." Trina almost threatened me through the phone but I was still skeptical about it.

Drunk me was not at all a good idea.

"I'll let you know, Trina. I think I might have other plans."

I tried to get out of it because it wasn't going to be just her and her girlfriend, Simon would also be there and I didn't want to hang out with him after our last encounter. It would be super awkward if I face him again.

"Look if this is about Simon, you really don't have to worry. He knows that you and Ray are a thing now. Please come, babe." She started whining and it almost felt like she had read my mind. Ray entered my room at that exact moment, making me re-think my decision again.

"Ummm.. I'll text you in a bit but I got to go now, Trina. Bye, see you." I rushed out quick
