Chapter 37

When Parrish thought that it was the end for him, a beam of light shone upon them and its warm caress secluded him from Aragorn's attack as if purposely protecting him.

The warm light gradually faded and it revealed a maiden with pure white two pairs of wings. Her wings flapped as she descended, causing dust and rubble to blow with the generated wind, making everyone near her cover their faces and close their eyes, obscuring their view.

Aragorn for one did not even pay attention to the arrival of the familiar celestial that has landed near him for who knows what reason. He just stood there patiently as he waits for the celestial's introduction, he cannot fathom how Parrish successfully dodged almost all of his attacks and he was revered as a powerhouse when using a sword. Even semi-unconscious and not partially on his rightful mind, his pride could not accept that fact, thus he wanted more.
