Grace and I walked through the mall while the men prepared the watch that I had bought for Alessio.

It being his birthday, I didn’t want the day to go without a celebration. The man has been doing so much for me, the least I could do for him is give him a birthday that he would remember, at least between the two of us.

“What do you have planned for him though? I haven’t seen you doing anything that implied that it was his birthday?” Grace asked. I sighed pinching the bridge of my nose. Things have been harder lately with the Dragonetti family and what my parents have done. I knew that whatever I planned, Alessio would be against for security reasons.
