CHAPTER THIRTY TWO

"After all, it was my job, right?" I asked no one in particular.

The room was so dark that I could not see anything. Finally, I saw a shoe spray, and I got slowly up from the bed so Mr. Gavriel would not notice that someone was on the bed with him.

I picked up the spray from the table where it was laid and sprayed it carefully on the shoe after I had checked if it was the same colour as the shoe.

When I was through, I opened the wardrobe and placed it on the space available for a shoe in the shoe rack.

Then I remembered that Mr. Gavriel still had his suit on, so I climbed the bed and carefully put him in a sitting position as I pulled off the suit he was wearing and carefully laid him back on the bed.

After I had gotten off the bed, I picked up the stockings I had initially pulled from his feet as I glared around in search of his dirty laundry, and finally I saw a heap of clothes inside a basket. I then went in the direction it was as I added the suit and stockings inside it and clos
