Chapter 2

( EVA’s POV)

“What are you doing here?... that too at this time?” I asked as calmly as can but he just kept standing where he was and didn’t even move. I looked at his appearance, he has now beard and his hair styled like a man now which used to be so messy, is now not missing even a single hair.

His face is looking hard, jaw sharp, he always had a good body but now it is looking insane. His bulges have gotten so big that they are trying to tear out of the suit he was wearing. Wait... why am I looking in so detain at his body?

“If you are here to consol me after what your brother did to me, then I guess you can go... as you can see I am fine.” I told Kane clearly that I am ok. I know he is here to make sure I am ok after what ever his brother did. After all he was my trainer and although I have not met him since many years but still since that time I knew he was a good person.

I was still looking at him but he was not saying any thing. The border guards knows that he is royal family werewolf that is why he was not stopped by them other wise my head border guard Dave must have informed me. I was lost in thoughts when he just came and stood right at me and removed my hood in a single motion. Only my head is exposed but I feel like I am fully exposed and vulnerable in front of this huge man and then I did the biggest mistake of my life... I looked right at his eyes. Shit... No...

He kept looking at my eyes and said only one word that changed my world....

“Mate” with that my eyes widened and I felt the bond forming between us.

NO.... NO.... NO....

Moon goddess can't be this cruel with me. She gave me a destined mate and that too a man who is the elder brother of the love of my life? Why?... how?

“This is not possible...” I whispered but his eyes just hardened and he snarled. He is angry. His once green lightest green eyes turned angry and darkened in a forest green colour...that only happens if his wolf is present and then he released a growl. It is his wolf. Oh my god, he was the one who was sniffing me there... same eyes...

“It was you...” I said as I recognised the wolf from the forest and he smirked. Why is he acting like this?

“Yes, little mate. It was me. I am Leon. Kane’s wolf. I just wanted to make sure it is you mate... so I sniffed and put my scent on you.” He said and I gasped. He licked me. What kind of sick game is it? I know inner wolf is not to be messed with. They don't have many emotions except for their mate; it would be wise to talk to Kane instead Leon.

“Leon...” I said and he purred. What is wrong with him?

“Leon... please, give control back to Kane. I want to talk to him.” I asked and he smirked.

“Kane is here only. He just doesn’t care about you mate but I do. So all the decisions regarding you will be taken by me only.” He said and I was scared to my bones. What the hell is he talking about?

“I want to talk to him.” I stated firmly and he growled but soon his eyes got normal and I knew it was Kane now.

“what is it?” he asked in his gruff voice with no emotion, like he is more wolf than his wolf. What happened to him? He was not like this ever...

“Kane... there has to be some mistake... how can I be your mate?” I asked and he was looking least interested.

“No mistake... you are my second chance mate by moon goddess. You are coming with me to my pack now.” He stated like he is telling me about going on a date and not to his land. Wait... his pack? Isn’t he the Beta King, Beta of Alpha king? From where did his own land came?

“What are you saying? I can't come with you. I have a Kingdome to run and you know I love some one else... your bro....” before I could complete he grabbed my hand and pulled me straight to his chest and put a finger right on my lips.

“Hush... not a single word little mate, you are coming with me and that is final. I have no interest in arguing with you about some thing which is inevitable.” He said and the anger in his eyes made me want to pee in my pants. When did he become so scary and heartless?

I gathered all my strength and pushed him away, even used my powers a bit to get rid of him. He took a step back but raised an eye brow at me.

“Impressive, but still you need to learn a lot. Still depending on your powers and not strength. We will work on that later. Now Pack your stuff, I will tell Luna Queen Iris to appoint a new Queen or King for this throne.” He ordered and insulted me and then he just said so casually that he will tell my sister to assign a new witch for the throne. How dare he? I am the Queen of the Witches. I have the right over the throne as I am the only royal witch after my sister who is alive. He has crossed many limits today and that just made me so angry. I glared at him and shouted on top of my lungs.

“I AM NOT GOING. LEAVE FROM MY KINGDOME RIGHT NOW!” I shouted and he just kept looking at me then he chuckled. What the hell, even his chuckle is scary and then his eyes shined bright. Like he is going to enjoy this challenge. I am ready as well. I will fight him if that is what it takes for him to leave me. I got my hands in my pocket to get my blades out but before I could reach to them he was in front of me with his super speed and then he grabbed my nape in his strong fingers and pressed.

I started to see black dots on my vision. I am fainting... No. I tried to keep my eyes open and summon some of my powers but he just increased the pressure that I knew it will leave marks now and then... I was out cold and I felt him carrying me over his shoulder... and I heard only one word last...

“MINE!” and I passed out completely...
