A month away

Oh shit, did she hear me?.

"Maria Jose!", At the sound of my fingers snapping her back to reality, she takes a step backwards and saud." Please tell me you're joking, are you in love with me?".

Thus, there was no need trying to cover up the known truth, I weaved a weak smile and at a count of my head nodding, a slapped was sounded on my face..

I held the affected area, unable to understand why she did such, Maria Jose takes a fast pace and left me with an itching face.

Apparently if that wasn't enough drama, Alexis walked into the scene.

"Hahahaha!!", She laughed and the more I took heed of her laughing, the more irritated I get. ( Frown)

"Please excuse me".

Ignoring Alexis was the best idea but as usual, she pulled out her hand and dragged me back to her.

"Awww, why are you running Chris?".

Although she stopped laughing, there was an atom of mockery in her voice to me, I buffed a weak smile and gradually got her hand disconnected from mine.

Once more I tried leaving and again she tugged me back, it seemed the minions in her head wanted her to do something contrary to what she's expected to do.

So I said. "Alexis, can you please let me go?".

( I drove down and up knitting her glare, she gave me a little arrogant behavior, thankfully releasing her grip, thus it gives me the opportunity to vacate from the living room)

I got in and massaged the slapped Maria Jose gave to me, why the fuck did she slap me?. ( Curiousness dorks up to a new level)

ONE MONTH LATER

"Chris?".

Mom walked in to my room and met me still asleep, "get up?" She shoved me off the bed and I slammed my face on the tiled floor.

"Urgh, let me sleep?".

A grinned facing my head to the door when dad walks in .

"Chris, get up".

No one had to tell be twice, I jerked up from the ground. He motioned and mom went on fleeing from the room.

And at the sound of her feet ambling away, he says to my hearing. "Son, tonight, is going to be yours and Alexis engagement, or I'm giving you a heads-up, so get prepared".

( Takes a new turn and left me dumbfounded)

Although it's been a whole month and all my attempt to get this wedding called off failed, and now dad wants us to get engaged after knowing the fact that I'm in love with Maria Jose and not Alexis?. ( Frown)

Thereafter, I got dressed and strolled over to Maria Jose's room, thankfully we both bumped into each other on the way and she halts noting the look on my face.

"Chris? Is everything okay?". ( Waits to hear my response).

"No, nothing is, it seems I'm getting married much sooner than expected".

( My words to her).

Maria Jose takes a quick response, "excuse me", thus she adds up her action by dragging me into her room, away from prying eyes and ears..

I rested my back on the wall, unable to lift my head up, I blabed out everything dad just told me not quite long ago...

She withdrew her feet away from me, I raised up my head thus in attempt to get a hold of her, she takes a veers to the door and left me alone inside.

The same time, I rushed after her and we both walked in on Alexis parent's seated at the living room..

What's their names again? Or yeah, Mr Ian and Mrs Stephanie drew.

Mr Ian says, "oh good morning Chris, I'm so happy to see you"...

Mrs Stephanie join in to the conversation, "hello son?", She says with so much love in her tone for me.....

My eyes notes that dad was pleased seeing everything go on has planned, but as much as I wouldn't love to disappoint that, getting married to Alexis is something I wouldn't think of doing.

So, I left and stormed out of the house, without telling on my whereabouts, on my way to my car, I saw Keith outside, he had no idea i took sight of him while he gets into a taxi.

"Where's he going to?", I said to myself and out of curiosity, also got into another taxi and went after him ....

Hours past, he stopped at a mental asylum, Keith gets out and I did after still trailing him ...

He gets in and a without even asking for directions went into a room, numbered ( 204).

It seems Keith knew someone here, but the question is, who?.

( Sneaked I and heard him talking to a lady tied up in a white dress)..

"Good evening ma'am!! I'm guessing you don't know me but I do know you".

( The woman watched quietly without saying a single word, and he proceeds talking again)..

"Hi, I'm Keith woods, Janes son and you're Elena Wood's, master Leonard's first wife and Chris's biological mom, which of cause everyone thought you died"...

I grabbed my mouth, aming to bottle up the shock of what I just discovered, oh shit, my biological mom is still alive and come to think about it, how the hell did Keith know about her?
