"Are you asking me that shitty question?". She asked

"Yes ma'am" I answered awaiting for her to proceed further.

Although I knew what she wanted to say, it was best she said it with her mouth.

Like I presumed Mom frowned her words out.

"Aren't you at least scared!! Do you know what you're getting yourself into, if you accept Master Leonard's inheritance?".

( Mom's words to me)

"Seriously? It seems you have forgotten, that  I'm also a woods blood and Master Leonardo is Also my father"

( My words to her).

Decerning the obvious, Mom had a long face and left my room. She's only being paranoid, I said to myself and got ready for bed.

I tucked myself in and the second my eyes fell asleep, a scream for help got me running down the stairs.

I ran like a lunatic and found Mom at the mercy of Mrs. Janes, her eyes over to me and said. "Welcome Keith, I'm glad you can join us".

The stone that Mom kept got me scared. I tipped my way to her. "Mrs Jane, do not do anything stupid?"

I said.

Mrs Jane smiles at me and at the sight of my mom being at her mercy. The gun was fired.

Immediately before my very own eyes, Mom falls to the ground, coughing out blood.

I screamed and it instantly hurled me back to the real world.

"Urgh!! What a terrible nightmare?".

( Tension keeps building)

The next morning, Mom woke up from bed. "Good morning Mom?". The sleep in my eyes where much. I turned trying to get more shut eyes, but at the sound of something heavy Falling on the floor. 

I got up, double-checking if Mom was fine.

"Oh my gosh!! Mom are you okay?".

( Off behavior)

She nodded swifty sipping into her questioning mood. "Keith, are you feeling okay? You seem strange?". ( Mom Implored to know More)

Although telling her about my nightmare wasn't going to be an option. I decided to tell a white lie.

"Yes Mom!!  I'm fine?". ( I assured her I was fine)

Mom looked at me for a while before leaving the room. A weak moan weaves out and I fall on my back, trying to control myself.

"Something is WRONG?". 

It seems I spoke too soon. Mom screamed out my name and I jumped out of my room and down. Turning a stunned look at Master Leonardo lying cold once again on the ground.

"Dad? What happened?".

( Ran to his aid, while mom went on to call the doctor)

A while later, the doctor came home. He ran some checks on Dad, and thereafter spoke up again.

"Are you the eldest son?".

( The doctor asked)

"Yes sir?" I affirmed, and he went on speaking again.

"Sir!! I'm sorry to say this but your dad was poisoned. And it seemed the poison had eaten him so deep, we will have to run more tests to see if we can be able to flush out the left poison in his system".

The doctor's words almost drove me to the wall. 

Mrs Jane drops her hand on her head, while her son, stood at the side, looking confused.

Something isn't just right, who would poison Dad? And why?.

( Asked myself while glaring at Mrs Jane, To me, she looked suspicious)

Threading the issue on the ground. It hadn't been an hour since the doctor left, and another drama came up.

I took heed of Mom's voice downstairs, Instantly I ran into the scene and met Mrs Jane holding a knife to Mom's neck.
