Get rid of the problem

At the door, I overheard Karan's reason for visiting.

The doctor also asked the same question, Karan however said he had come for an important request.

What request?...

Across the door, Karan tells the doctor to temper with mom's drugs.

And promised to double his pay.

The doctor however chose not to, he shouted at him and Karan left there holding a huge grudge.

I was spotted by him the minute I decided to leave.

He walks to meet me.

"Javelin, what seems to be the problem,"

The phone in my hand almost slipped and fell to the ground.

I turned to the doctor, he was the only person brave enough, to tell the truth behind Karan's visit.

I got to understand that, Karan wasn't here to make peace, nor accept the fact that his sister is no more, which we all know isn't the truth.

The doctor promised to take care of Mom.

Meanwhile, at home. I left the hospital before Karan could find me.

Avanti saw me coming in and ran downstairs.

"Where have you been, been looking for you?"

She said.

I couldn't tell her what happened at the hospital, I held her hand and pulled her into the one place I knew was safe.

My bedroom.

Right there I told her what Karan was about to do, his visit to the hospital mom was in

Avanti got angry. She takes a hold of her hand and vowed to go down and put an end to Karan's injustice.

That made me scared.

Letting her go down to speak with Karan is a bad idea, I can't let that happen, "Hold on please".

Before she left the room I stopped her.

"What is it?"

She asked creaking unsettled.

I'm sure telling her to not go down and confront Karan is like telling her to turn mute, however, Abhishek is in his custody, and Pinky also knows about his whereabouts.

And if Avanti confronts Karan, it will be like putting oil in the already burning fire to flare things up.

Ayan walks in. He noticed something strange by mainly looking at our faces.

Avanti and I shared a look, I made her promise not to tell anything to Ayan.

He might not be a bad person, but I don't think I should be able to trust everyone.

Downstairs. We overheard Pinky's voice. Avanti, Ayan, and I came, pinky was drunk beyond repair, she saw us standing and staggered her way over.

"Javelin, how dare you think you can save this family?"

Her hand points at Avanti.

Avanti looked with anger. She almost wanted to squeeze her hand if I didn't hold her back in time.

"Don't please,". I mumbled.

Pinky pulls back and accidentally bumps into a lamp. It broke causing her to injure herself, the second her hand fell on the broken pieces on the ground.

Blood came out.

"Wow pinky, you sure have a lot of blood, but don't worry, I'll help you squeeze every blood left in your body If you don't tell us where my brother is,".

Avanti's tone, made me look back.

She nodded and approached Pinky. She held her arms and pulled her up.

Pinky looked at her and smiled.

What's happening?..... I don't think she's going to tell the truth so easily.

My thoughts exactly. Pinky pushed Avanti off, and she almost fell to the ground, if not for Ayan's assistance.

Karan walks in. I saw him grab Pinky's hand and without looking like he was going to do something, Pinky received a slap right across the face.

That slap seems to reset her brain. The alcohol washed off from her eyes and she retaliated hastily, by picking a knife from the fruit basket on the dining table.

"Pinky, have you gone mad?".

Karan got a hold of the knife when she almost tried to stab him with it.

He flings the knife away and again, slapped her

Twice on the cheeks.

I stared in shock. Avanti too and Ayan.

Pinky held both her cheeks and stared at us. Why exactly did Karan slap Pinky?

Pinky stormed into her bedroom.

Avanti left with Ayan and I was left looking at the scene that just played.

Can I perhaps break the relationship between Karan and Pinky?...

I was on my to my bedroom, I passed Pinky's room and met her crying. She has never cried before.

I wanted to walk in to speak with her, but Karan stepping out of his bedroom, made me leave.

He was approaching Pinky's bedroom,

I had to hide before he found me.

Pinky opened the door, and the minute he knocked, she wasn't pleased to see him.

"Leave Karan and don't ever let me see you,".

The bracelet she wore made jingling noises while trying to close the door.

Karan however stopped her.

"Pinky, let's talk, there's a problem,".

Karan brings out his phone, he is showing something on it.

Pinky stared at it with surprise. I still don't know what made her look like she had seen a ghost. Neither did I know it was more of a who.

Eventually, I got to hear from Karan's mouth that Abhishek had escaped from a place in Shadnagar. A village to be precise.

Hearing them tell me his exact location, made me emotional, I almost exposed myself, thankfully Karan got a call and left. Whereas Pinky went back into her bedroom.

I made calls on my way to sleep. Tomorrow, I'll be going on a long drive to save Abhishek.

Morning. I left everything and went in search of Abhishek. I didn't tell her about my best friend, but I left a letter underneath her pillow.

Informing her not to worry about me.

I got into the cab that drove me from Madhapur to Shadnagar.

It was a three-hour drive.

I got there later in the day. How and where do I find Abhishek? Although I'm sure Pinky and Karan said that he had escaped from a village called Shadnagar, they also forgot to tell me how big of a place it is.

Before Karan does.

Avanti phoned me.

She called to ask about my whereabouts. I couldn't tell her the exact place I was, even though I was dying to, nonetheless, I chose to lie.

No one should know that I'm here and the sooner I find Abhishek the faster we get rid of Pinky and Karan.
