Chapter Twenty

"I'm Alex Croft, no, my name is Alex Croft, no, Hello standing in front of you is Alex- arrrrrgghhhhhhh."

Alex slammed his heaf on the table, groaning in pain as he felt the pain. He ran his hand through his hair in frustration, recalling how he had been in the library ever since his classes for the day were over, trying to get himself ready for his presentation.

His presentation was going to be happening the following day and though he seemed confident when he spoke to Victoria about it, deep down he knew he was nervous. Very nervous.

It wasn't going to be his first time presenting in the presence of an audience but it was going to be his first time in over six years. He had spent the majority of his high school life as a literal shadow and as a result, never had to present in front of the class making his last memory of such presentations presenting his little self grown plant back in the sixth grade.
