Dinner

On Tuesday I was dodging my mother, who wanted to talk about me quitting boxing. Although we both know it's a waste of time for me to try since I love boxing with all my soul and it's something I've always shared with my father. We enter his apartment after a few long minutes of silence. The walls are white and gray, but a light gray that makes it seem more illuminated. I look at the clock that shows ten o'clock in the morning, I get out of bed stretching and go to the bathroom where I relieve myself and then I take a quiet shower. It's a good thing I'm going to college tomorrow, otherwise, I would have been late. I get out in my towel and rummage through my closet for what I'm going to wear today. When I get to the door of the gym I can hardly feel my face because it is so frozen. As soon as I open the door I feel the warmth of the gym. I walk in and the warmth welcomes me.
