Helpless

Lavender sat at the bus station, watching as people got on the bus, but she didn't hop in because she wasn't sure where to go.

Sometimes she wondered how her life had turned out like this. Back when her mom was still alive, they were all happy, and her father used to adore her so much, until he brought home Gladys (Michelle's mom) and Michelle.

Since then, both the mother and daughter had turned her father against her, and he hated her totally. "Can I sit here?" a voice suddenly said, and she looked up to see a guy smiling at her. Lavender raised an eyebrow.

"Can I sit with you if you don't mind?" the guy asked again. "It's obviously for sitting purposes. Why do you have to ask me?" she mumbled and turned her face away.
